Strangers Sewers

After hearing what Bierce had to say to me, I jumped into the new nightmare portal that had just opened up. As usual, there was an obstacle placed inside that blocked the way to the other side.

"Malak blocked the entrance, now that's just pathetic, don't you think?" Bierce says as if commenting on how poorly Malak made his trap. "Well never fear, love. There is a solution to your problem. You'll just have to.. rearrange your brain for a bit. Come back to the altar." Bierce says to me reassuringly.

"What now, Bierce?" I questioned what she meant by rearranging my brain. "Not a worry my dear. You might want to close your eyes. Keeps them from popping out." Bierce states as she grants me a new power called telepathy.

"Thanks, Bierce," I said as I felt a little light headed. "Not a problem my dear. Just don't let me catch you trying to see through anything besides walls." She kindly warned me as I jumped back into the portal. I used my new abilities to get past the hidden trap and made my way to the entrance of the new realm. Once inside, I see that I'm in the sewers and the water levels are almost up to my knees.

"Not afraid of a little sewer water, are you? Just don't get any in your mouth." Bierce says as I started to walk. I've noticed that my mobility is hindered by the water, I've become a lot slower than I'd liked.

As I walked, I heard Bierce's saying, "You might have heard things like urban legends, I'm sure. All kinds of things get flushed down here. Alligators, goldfish, even Duckies." Suddenly, a spotlight was turned on inside a grate room and I turned to see a giant rubber duck that Bierce said. The duck looked like the one I saw on their portal, except they looked decrepit and covered with cracks and sludge. They had sharp, pointed teeth and a traffic cone on top of their head.

'Man... these things are creepy, not Tim Burton creepy, but silent hill creepy.' I thought to myself as I moved to the next room. "Hmm...this place smells very...ripe *gag* I think I threw up in my mouth a little." Bierce complained about the sewer's smell. I ignored her remarks and entered the next room, it's not like she's the one down here. This time there was a medium sized hole next to the door and on top was a message that said, 'watch out for the big one!' "Well, that's interesting." Bierce commented to it as I went to the adjacent door that was opened.

Suddenly, a beak came right at me and grabbed me in a tight grip. I've managed to get out of its vice-like grip and the beak retracted back to wherever it came from. "It unlocked now." I heard Bierce say as I tried to calm down after that surprising encounter I just faced. As I walked to the next room which looked like the starting position of this world's maze.

I saw from one of the corridors a few Dread Duckies floating in the water in the distance. "Oh look! They're trying to blend in, eh? Let's see how well you pay attention to details." Bierce says after seeing the Duckies too.

I Knew this was caution, not a snarky remark like Bierce would normally say about a bad situation. I decided to take heed of her advice and ran into the maze to start the first round. It looks like there are three hundred and ten soul shards over here in zone one. I used my new ability to see around me, there looks like there are six imposters or monsters in this area. As Long I can keep an eye on where they are, I should be fine.

*Time skip*

I was standing in the middle of where all the corridors connected together after I had gathered all the soul shards in zone one, while also using the telepathy power to figure out which Dread Duckies were safe and active. "Congrats! You've gathered half of the shards. Just try to live long enough to gather the rest." Bierce says to me.

I then noticed that the central room had now opened, so I ran over there to see what's inside. Once there, I see tons of empty Dread Duckies stacked together in a pile, a valve switch in the middle, and two large sewer pipes on each side of the room. I also see the ring alter in the distance as well, but once I approach it a loud, violent roaring sound is heard. 'What was that?' I wondered what could have made that sound.
