Chapter 1

"It would seem yet another era failed, and crumbled to dust..." A comment can be heard as a pioneer was looking at something that fell into his hand. That person is currently holding a leaf. A wilted one at that.

The sign of a wilted world. A world that died out. One that has faded to nothingness.

A man is sitting down, laying his back against a tree. The leaves peacefully landed undisturbed atop the man. His figure allowing for the tree to rest assured.

The man has a fair complexion, along with knee-length gray hair with teal-green  highlights. His eyes are fuchsia-colored with green pupils, although they mostly appear closed. His clothing consists of a black polo with gold  details on the collar and breast pocket with a white sash over his left  shoulder. The sash has a gold pin on the shoulder. On his left ear, he  wears two black helix earrings and a gold hoop earring. He wears loose  gray jeans fastened with a black belt with a green detail. On his belt,  he appears to have a dream catcher hanging from his left side, and two  other trinkets on the right side. On his right hand, he wears a  dark-gray glove, while his left hand is bare. His left hand is decorated  with several types of symbols, including a tattooed ring on his index  finger. He wears white boots that reach up his calf.

"....for how long will this continue? How long will each civilization fall? How long will Honkai be able to consume the worlds?"

The man, named Su, then sighed in dissatisfaction, but regardless, he is willing to be patient. There are so many possibilities out there, that it is impossible that all of it will just lead to everything being destroyed. There has to be a world where at the very least humanity has prevailed against Honkai. In that way this can lead to a possible miracle where he can help humanity, giving them a chance where Honkai can be defeated.

He owes him that one. An old friend who he feels he has failed, and this is his way of atonement for his own sin.

Not long after that, he noticed a new leaf falling on his hand. But this one made him raise his eyebrows.
".....Hm? What's this?" Su wondered as he looked at the leaf that just fell from his hand. This leaf is green, a sign that a world is still alive, and yet there's something off about it, he can't help but ponder.

This leaf is glowing slightly, as if it's full of life. Full of energy, vigor, a sign of an unpredictable future.
"Interesting... I wonder...."

Su closed his eyes and decided to check what this leaf is all about. Peering into the enigmatic leaf to see what it holds. To his surprise, it refused to shatter or wilt. And Su's eyes are wide as he continued to look at the scene before him.

'T-This is...'

The pioneer wasn't expecting this outcome in the slightest. He has never seen something like that before. And to his shock, certain other leaves are glowing, just like the leaf in Su's hand. Just what is happening here?
After a while, they stopped, as Su is left silent as he has yet to process what he is seeing. So many leaves that lead to different futures..

"....It seems the wheels of fate have turned... this goes beyond even my own expectations..."

Meanwhile, in an unknown place....
Branches of pure life and light emitting together into the absolute form of unity. Many aspects combining into one tree containing so much life.
This is the Imaginary Tree.

But that is not the main focus, so let's begin the show, shall we?

"Oh great, really, at a time like this?!" A female exclaimed before sighing. "Man I just want to buy some food right now... sometimes I hate it when I don't have enough food..."
