"Would you stop complaining for once? It's not that far." The irritated voice of one Alexander Eversor snarked at one Kiana Kaslana. Both him and the white-haired girl are out to go shopping for groceries for the meantime.

"I wasn't complaining!" She retorted back at him, a tick mark on her forehead from that comment. Currently, she is wearing borrowed clothes from Alex's mother, that being a simple white and orange hoodie, a black tank top, blue shorts, and black and white sneakers with white socks.
Alex just rolled his eyes at that remark. "Sure you aren't."

"Ugh, whatever!" Kiana huffed.

What are the two doing in the meantime? Well...
Currently, both of them are out to buy groceries in order to buy more food, considering Kiana is staying at the house at the meantime. Much to Alex's slight dismay, given her attitude. But the funny thing is, Kiana isn't really focused on that at the moment.
Truth is, Kiana still wants answers from what happened the other day. The fact is that this boy pretty much knows how to fight Honkai Beasts instead of just being a mere bystander!

It's just so baffling to her that he can be able to fight off Honkai Beasts.

Noticing Kiana's expression, Alex lightly chuckled with Kiana catching the raw smugness of his face, balling her palm. She held back the urge to punch the pride out of him. "What's so funny?"
"It's nothing," Alex stretched his neck back, "This isn't my first rodeo- and my last is not coming any soon." Kiana stopped in her tracks and gave Alex a blank stare, though she played along with her curiosity and leaned in to hear.

"Those Honkai Beasts- you actually struggle with those? " Alex casually commented, Kiana twisted her face to scowl lightly at him. "I've fought worse," He said kicking a can, nailing in straight to the trash bin. "Way worse."
Kiana can't help but wonder what is with his carefree nature, considering that this is the enemy of mankind, and the fact he just treated it so casually despite what happened yesterday.

However, if she were to be honest, while she is too busy fighting the Archangels that time, she can guess this isn't the first time Alex encountered Honkai Beasts. Judging from the way he moved and fought. Not to mention the way his parents reacted seeing the injury, which instead of worry, they just frowned and knew this would happen.

Which surprised her at the fact that they are familiar with Honkai Beasts, giving her further suspicion that this isn't the first time he's encountered them.

"Example, the one time I was at a gasoline station being bored since my parents wanted to buy stuff from the store..." Alex said, as he began to tell the tale of one his adventures, to which Kiana decided to listen as both are walking to the store.

"This is so boring..." Alex can't help but sigh as he is sipping his iced tea while sitting on a bench. "Having to wait until mom and dad are back... that doesn't seem fun."

Currently, Alex is going to wait in the gasoline station since his parents will be out to buy some new things. They promised him that they won't take long, and hoped that he'll behave. But, alas, all he found is boredom as there isn't anything much to do here.
On the bright side, he did have some money in order to buy some snacks and drank iced tea, so that at the very least he'll keep his mind occupied by eating.

All Alex can do is lean backwards on the bench as he munched on his potato chips. "What to do, what to do...." He then let out a sigh from his mouth once he is down chewing.. "Should probably play with my phone, I suppose."
Just as he is about to bring out his phone from the pocket of his shorts, suddenly, he heard a scream from the other side, as his eyes widened before he then sat up.
