Lost

The first thing Jungkook noticed after entering the hall was the fact that Taehyung and Jimin weren't present today. He didn't give much of his mind to it since they skipped classes often for no serious reason. The rest of the class went pretty smoothly. After he dismissed the class, Eunjin asked him if he could help her with new personal producing project. Since today he only had one class to take, which meant he was basically free right now, he agreed to help her with that. 

Everything was going well till he finally got to his phone. Soon he noticed the notification on his phone about something. At first he was confused since he didn't remember himself setting any reminders of any date, until he checked the date... It finally dawned on him while he stared at the phone... How could he mess this up this bad? " So.... Is everything okay? Is that why I wasn't reminded by anyone? " Jungkook thought to himself as his fingers rushed to dial Jimin's number, internally praying that the vampire would answer.

" Yes- " " Where is Tae? " Jungkook asked out in a desperate tone. " In the dorm obviously. He told me that he wasn't feeling well last night and today he wanted to rest. So now he is in the dorm, taking some rest. " Jimin explained from the other side, not so fazed till now. " Did you check on him this morning? Are you with him right now? " " No..... I gave him medicines last night and he said he was going to be fine, he looked fine so I'm outside to run some errands. " After hearing Jimin's answer, all of Jungkook's worries felt like it was slowly materializing itself. " Why are you suddenly asking me th- " "  Meet me at the dorm as soon as possible. " Jungkook said before cutting the call, leaving Jimin confused.

As Jungkook rushed to excuse himself to leave, Eunjin called for him, he wished he could care less. " I heard you while you were talking on the phone.... Are leaving to see Tae now? Is Tae really sick? I want to see him too. Let's go together. " She mumbled out while packing up along with Jungkook " Don't worry. He will be fine. You don't have to come. " The vampire muttered out in a cold tone and left before she could even insist on herself going there. He really had no time or patience in him to deal with her right now.

The more time passed the more he felt like a sore loser to himself as no one came to answer the door after Jungkook rang the doorbell of Taehyung's and Jimin's dorm for God knew how many times. He felt like he was about to lose his ability of breathing as he desperately, continuously slammed on the doorbell with literally one answering the door. " Where the fuck is he?! Maybe he is just still asleep. " He mumbled to himself so he could calm himself down. The situation was getting worse and worse. He could do nothing but regret his idiotic actions.

Pulling out his phone once again he rushed to dial Taehyung's number. The call kept ringing with no answer till it ended each time he redialed. He still tried again and again with no succ6. His optimistic side was telling him that Taehyung was just not in the state to answer the call or the door.... But deep down he had this bad feeling that told him this was worse than he could even imagine it to be. There were so many unsent messages from Taehyung since last night, he discovered those once he checked their group chat and his DM. " What the fuck was I even doing?! " He screamed at himself while banging on the door this time, still no answer.

He knew at some point the students who were still in the dorm would hear him and this would be a bigger mess but to him, getting a sign of the younger's presence was more important right now. With shaky hands he was about to call Jimin again, he was stopped when he found Jimin's figure walking down the hallway while huffing as if he was chased by a dog. " What the fuck is wrong with y- " " Open the fucking door. " Jungkook muttered out in a panicked tone, giving Jimin a piece of his anxiety. Without a word he rushed to open the door with his spare keys. " When was the last you saw Tae here? " Jungkook asked while Jimin opened the door. " L- last night. " Pushing Jimin aside he entered the dorm, the place was so fucking quiet to have someone in it right now.

Without listening to the Jimin's confused questions, he rushed inside to check the omega's room. The last bit of sanity that he had left in him crumbled into it's demise when he found the door unlocked, half expectedly once he opened the door.... The room was so empty. No trace of Taehyung was there. " B- but y- you said... He is in his r- room. " Jungkook asked out hysterically while he backed away in pure fear engulfing his entire existence. " H- he isn't? " Jimin exclaimed in shock before he went inside Taehyung's room to check it by himself, not forgetting to check the bathroom as well. Yeah, the omega was indeed nowhere to be found.

" HOW COULD I FUCKING DO THIS??? " Jungkook screamed out into in hands that covered his face while his back hit the wall. His eyes were tearing up at this point, the anxiety was settling in him deeper.  He deserved to feel like this, he knew he did. Taehyung probably felt even worse. " W- will you explain what the fuck is going on? " Jimin asked, getting more tensed about the entire situation he barely had any idea of. Jungkook looked up from his hands, staring at the latter in some sort of disappointment in his eyes. He tsked out before laughing as if Jimin and him were joking around. " You know what? I can't blame you for forgetting, he trusted me with this... At least... I should have remembered this. " He finally spoke up while massaging his temple as if it was going to help him think of any better solution of this situation.

Jimin was lost for a few seconds, before things finally clicked in. " You mean.... R- Right now Tae c- can be roaming in the streets while he is on his heat? Oh my lord I forgot. " Jimin gasped at how bad it sounded and it was worse than how it sounded. How could any of them forget about this? Had they been this much careless about the omega??? Did they neglect him to this point?, the guilt was killing him right now. " Did he have the spare keys? " Jungkook asked in an empty tone. Jimin just hummed in response, both of them not knowing what to do at this point. Jungkook just sat there, against the wall.

Jungkook couldn't stop blaming himself either. How could he forget about such important thing? How could he forget something like this? Taehyung trusted him to help him with his most vulnerable state, and he just proved that he shouldn't be trusted. Now he could only blame himself for whatever that was going to happen to the omega. The omega could be anywhere doing anything with anyone right now, being in the most vulnerable state ever. He failed Taehyung, he knew it, he just failed himself. He broke the promise he kept to himself. " He isn't answering to calls. " Jimin mumbled out in a tensed tone, making Jungkook look at him and sigh. " I know... I have already tried. " He replied.

" We should start looking for him... He can be anywhere right now. " Jungkook said as he managed to stand of his shaky legs. " If he left this morning, it's already 3 in the noon right now, he had already covered enough distance to not be found by us like this. " Jimin added, causing Jungkook to be more hysterical. " I know he is going to be okay.... I believe he is smart enough to not roam around everywhere right now. Most likely he went to them when we didn't help... After all they never neglected him like we did. " Jimin sighed out, feeling disappointed in themselves. " We need to make sure he is safe first of all, then we can think of the as redemption. " The vampire added. " B- but how are so sure?? What if he went outside, somewhere else? " Jungkook asked, he knew some parts of him was in denial about the fact that Taehyung probably went to his werewolf pack after not finding any help from any of them, specifically him.

" We can't waste any more time. Calling them won't help, I doubt that any of them will tell the truth. Tae probably told them to not to. I need to go and get him. " Jimin said while he prepared to leave, completely ignoring Jungkook. " W- wait... I will go with you too- " " Don't... You should stay here, just in case if Tae comes back from somewhere else, just call me. " Jimin said and left without letting Jungkook insist. He knew that taking Jungkook there would be the worst idea, Jungkook was a ticking time bomb that got set off whenever he even felt Seojoon's presence. Jungkook and the alpha clawing and verbally cursing at each other was the least thing any of them needed in between this mess. The question right now was the omega really at the pack house.... And how the hell would he get Taehyung to come back here...
