A few months pass by,
The hotel incident somehow reached the press. The authorities removed Dashi's unit from this case and handed it to another unit. Then another. Then another. Then another... Unfortunately, the groups didn't last long and everyone was killed after being handed the case.
(In the meeting room)
Chifuyu: The case would probably be handed back to us because we were the only not killed
Takashi: Even if Annie has healed. We can't take any chances because it might happen to someone else again
Miki: I asked you to investigate Bonten right? How'd it go
Chifuyu: It was pretty hard to get information about them but with the help of Mashi and Akito, it was successful
Mashi and Akito fixed their collars and cleared their throats being proud of themselves. Naoto chuckled and was pretty proud of Akito. Everyone laughed (Naoto and Akito aren't dating. Not that he's afraid of rejection, he just thinks she doesn't like him back)
Kazutora: So what about the info?
Chifuyu: Japan's current worst criminal organisation "Bonten". Gambling, Fradulation, Prostitution and Murder. It is said that any type of crime will definetly have involvement of Bonten. Even the cops couldn't get any intel about them
Mashi: They're hot but it ain't a fictional world so it's kinda dark
Dashi: Speaking about dark can someone switch on the lights? The sun is setting
Akito: SPEAKING OF DARK! Imagine a world without like... light
Everyone stared at her because that was something out of the blue. Mashi blinked and smirked
Mashi: That'd be dark
Chifuyu: Should we wait until we're handed the case or should we start today?
Mashi: We'd need a plan then won't we?
Takashi: I'd just want Annie to stay safe
Annie smiled and held his hand.
Annie: I trust Dashi and I believe I'd be safe.
Dashi: Thank you, Annie-san. Now I'd like to say that we should start investigating from today and take action to defeating Aori in the shadows
Kazutora: You realise we'd eventually have to kill her right?
Dashi: *sighs* Yeah.. and I will be the one to kill her
Everyone was stunned but knew this was the best decision. Then started poltting a plan of how they'd approach her and defeat her.
