Nico took his pen and, after two days, he was finally able to answer to his secreted friend.
"Hi Will! Sorry if I didn't answer, I was busy with school. How are you? You didn't seem so happy in your last letter.
I'm fine now that I can finally speak to you again. :)
I never said it till now, you make my day better I swear.
I appreciated your silly picture, hope you don't mind me taking it as you have all our letters. Just a little souvenir of our conversations.
I reckon blue orchids are so beautiful, my favourite flowers are sunflowers. Ironic of me to say that.

He hesitated while writing the last part. He wasn't so sure Will could appreciate it.
Nico took his picture out of his pocked and glued it on the letter.
It was a lovely picture of him and his dobermann. His back was turned and was holding his very much loved dog. Nico loved that picture, and of course Noelle did too.
He missed her, living in the school dorm had his advantages of course but Nico missed home.
