Tuesday

It was the end of the last class of the day. Ricky was eyeing Billy as he was going to walk up to him. Just when he was going to walk up to him, he felt something hit his back.

"What the hell?" he muttered under his breath as he turned around. It was that Lynn chick with a smirk on her face and a tube in her hand. He just turned around to ignore it and got up. As he was walking, he then tapped Danny.

"Hey, Danny. How's it going?" Ricky said.

"Oh, whassup Ricky?" Danny said, "How did the auditions go?"

"Sucked. We didn't make the cut." Ricky said, "Well, what else do you expect from a Loud? Fuck that family. Anyway, I got a question and I'm just going to the point: Can me and Billy join your band?".

"Hell, yeah you guys can!" Danny said, "That makes us a full band!"

"Full band? That's only 3 guys." Ricky said.

"5 actually. Jay's in there too." Danny said.

"Jay Holland?" Ricky asked, "Cool! But who's the singer?"

"You may scoff at it first but he's badass. The Loud brother." Danny said.

"Lincoln Loud is the new singer?" Ricky asked, "That's fine with me. He's literally the only tolerable Loud out of all six of them. Maybe Leni. Maybe..."

"Leni Loud ain't going to date you no matter how hard you try, bro." Danny said chuckling, "But, hey. The band is complete now!"

"Alright. After school, 6PM. Jay's basement." Ricky said.

"Cool." Danny said.

As Danny got up, he and Ricky "dapped" each other up.

For those who don't know what that is, this is what it is.

"Later." Ricky said.

"Peace." Danny said.

As Danny was about to walk out, LJ bumped into him.

"Hey, watch where you're going." Danny said.

"Make me, little goth boy." Lynn taunted.

"Ignore it... Ignore it..." Danny said as he took deep breaths.

Later that night in Jay's basement...

"So, this is where we're playing?" Lincoln asked, "Where's Danny and these other guys?"

"They're getting their stuff down." Jay said.

A few minutes later, Danny, Billy and Ricky all came downstairs with the equipment.

"So, you're Lincoln?" Billy said.

"Yep. And you're...?" Lincoln asked.

"Billy Hawkins, the drummer." Billy said.

"I'm Ricky Hawkins, the bassist." Ricky said.

"Nice to meet you guys." Lincoln said as he offered a handshake.

"Nice to meet you too, Linc." Ricky said as he shook Lincoln's hand.

"Alright, let's set it up. Let's get the ball rolling." Jay said.

After a few minutes of setting up, they got to their areas. Lincoln went up to his mic.

"Testing. 1. 2. 1. 2. Alright." Lincoln said, "What song first?".

"Know." Ricky said.

"Alright then... 1... 2... 1, 2, 3, 4!" Lincoln said.

SONG BEGINS

Billy started off with a drum intro

Jay and Danny join in guitar and Ricky joins in on bass

Lincoln joins in

Cursed Earth
Cursed Earth
Cursed Earth
Cursed Earth

Danny plays a small part before they go in the first verse

I will never feed off the evergreen luster of your heart
All because we all live in the valley of the walls
When they speak, we can peak from the windows of their mouths
To see the land, the women chant as they fly up to the sun

You never think you know why
Know, you never think you know why
Know, ever think you know why
Don't know, don't

Jay was impressed of Lincoln's guttural

Books all say different things while people flap their yellow wings
Trying to soar, being a whore of life and almost everything
Sheep that ran off from the herd, maybe dead
Now's a bird, able to fly, able to die, able to fuck your mother's Earth

You never think you know why
Know, you never think you know why
Know, ever think you know why

As it all cools down, Billy plays a drum solo

On the other side, the other side

Ricky was really impressed of how good his singing was

The other side

Do you ever try to fly, do you ever try to fly?

Have you ever wanted to die, have you ever wanted to die?

Don't ever try to fly, don't ever try to fly
Don't ever try to fly, unless you leave your body on the other side
Never try to die, d'you ever try to die?

Know, you never think you know why
Know, you never think you know why
Know, you never think you know why
Know, ever think you know why
Know

End of song.

Lincoln was out of breath and Billy was too.

"Holy hell, your singing is amazing!" Ricky said.

"Thanks." Lincoln said shyly.

"Dude, I think we got ourselves a solid band." Jay said.

"I'm looking forward to this." Lincoln thought.

They continued to play songs from different bands until they were tired.

It was a brand-new experience for Lincoln, and he was really excited about this.

The band is now complete, but there's something that vaguely feels they could use a 6th member...
