It is in Lincoln's garage on a cold cloudy winter day.

"Is this the first time you've been in my garage?" Lincoln asked someone.

"I think so, yeah." Stella said.

"Well, I think it's great we have an audience." Lincoln said, making Stella smile.

"Ready?!" he asked the band. They all gave thumbs up.

Billy, clicking his sticks, "1, 2, 3, 4!"

It starts out nice and soft with Danny and Jay before going heavy

The song ends

"Wow, good practice, guys!" Ricky said.

"Nice backup vocals!" Lincoln said to Cody.

"Thanks. Been practicing for years." Cody said.

"Wow, that was just... wow!" Stella said.

"Hey, glad you enjoyed. It's nice to have an audience." Lincoln said.

"Someone who's not your annoying ass brother." Danny said to Jay.

"Hey, sorry if my little brother barges, he can never mind his own business." Jay said.

"Lock the door." Danny said.

"Easy for you to say. My dad will go locked and loaded on my ass if I do." Jay said.

"Whatever" Danny said.

"So, Ricky, I forgot to ask. About the competition?" Billy asked.

"The competition?" Ricky said.

"Yeah, where is it, exactly?" Billy asked.

"Oh, In Flint." Ricky said.

"Oh, shit I just remembered something." Cody said.

"What is it?" Ricky asked.

"You know how my parents are divorced?" Cody asked.

"Yeah?" the other band members said.

"Well, I was born in Reno and when I was 5, my parents divorced. My mom moved to Michigan. I spend my school months here while I spend the summer in Nevada." Cody said.

"I also remembered that we have to visit mee maw in for 3 weeks in Buffalo. She's getting sicker." Billy told his cousin.

"We're not going to be able to compete then." Danny said.

"Fellas, it will come to us when it will. We're just not ready. Till then, we got what we got." Lincoln said. The rest of the boys nodded.

"Can I be a roadie?" Stella asked happily.

"We'll think about that." Lincoln said.
