Mormon Thoughts

I haven't written in a very long time. Life is just so busy!! It is hard to figure out wether or not I love the crazy busy or simple relaxation. Keeping busy keeps me from stopping and thinking of things I would rather avoid, but at the same time I get wound up on the chaos and seem to lose a bit of myself.

Life is all about balance and change.

Since the last time I wrote I have actually finished personal progress with a project different than this one. I have lost a beloved great grandmother and my grandfather. I am now a graduate of High School and will be attending Brigham Young University-Idaho in the fall with my best friend. Many of my closest friends are either moving out to college or are going off to foreign lands for church missions! I am now a certified life guard and work at a nearby country club.

So many new changes. . .

It is hard going through change. It is easy to get used to one specific pattern of life and at times with the change comes bitterness.

My great grandma and grandfather died within one week of each other. I've never had a close close family member die before. . . I was shaken to the core after this. For weeks I was unable to find my previous happy state and it affected how I interacted with others. Overtime my friends and family helped me regain my strength, but I know I won't ever be the same in a sense.

It is for the better though. They are my protecting angels who watch over me in Heaven now! I know they care for me as I care for them.

Without the gospel I wouldn't have handled the loss the same way. Through the teachings of my church I have learned that I CAN and WILL see my family members again.

Families can be together forever!

In this world of turmoil the only constant foundation that one will ever have is the gospel given through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Wherever you go the teachings are always the same! It is pretty amazing and is what kept me happy even when moving multiple times across the United States.

Never give up hope! Christ will protect us all with His redeeming love.

Life may seem bleak now, but if we put our trust in God all things are possible and I know that He will bless us.

He always will be there for us, no matter the circumstances.
