I walked through the door after a long day. It felt great to be home. I place my coat on the kitchen counter and walk to the couch, finally getting to sit down.

I decided to watch some tv, scrolling through channels until I found one playing Moana.

The movie was half way through but that was okay. After all, it was one of my favorites.

During an add break I walked over to my fridge, getting out a couple strawberries and making myself a fruit salad, until I hear footsteps.

I turn to my left to see my mom walking down the stairs. "Hey hun, whatcha making?" "I'm just making a quick fruit salad, want some?" I replied. "no, im fine. Marley, what did I say about putting jackets on the kitchen counter?" "not to put them there." I say with a bit of sarcasm, rolling my eyes. "don't roll your eyes at me young lady!" My mom says, playfully.

I continue making my salad and plop myself down on the couch just in time for the movie to start again.

"oh, Marley by the way, there is a package at the door for you." I stand up confused.  "What?"

I walk on the slippery hardwood floors carefully until I reach the door, and open it. and there it was, a large box.

"what...?" I say again, whispering this time.
"you go ahead and open it. I'm gonna go read, feel free to join me after!" She says, giving me a quick kiss on the head and going up the stairs.

I walk back to the kitchen counter, grabbing the scissors and opening it. inside the box was another box, and another box, and another. of course. ugh. I finally got the last box, opening it up with a little note.

your reservation  for Sublimotion Restaurant has been approved for 6pm today, with 2 people. Thank you for placing a reservation with us, Walker Scobell.

Did he just...did Walker just plan a date for us?

It was already 5, so I ran upstairs got a dress, put on some makeup, until it was time to go.

I was grabbing my coat when I heard a knock on the door.

I opened it up. there, Walker stood, mouth open. "um-wow. you look...beautiful"
"why thank you!" I say doing a curtsy. "you don't look that bad yourself" I reply. "so uh, are you ready to go?" He asks "yep!" i walk out the door, closing it behind me.

he walks me to the limo.. LIMO?

"Walker did you get a limo just for me?" "not just for you, for me too. But yes, I did." He says with a smile.

"What even is this, this caught me off guard." I say "well, I got bored so I surprised you with dinner!" "is this a date? I say curiously. "well..no." "okay then"

we continue the car ride showing each other funny videos until we arrive.
