As you and Vivi put the resources in your bags, you eventually began to continue walking and left the village. You wanted to rest there for a while, but your determined companion seemed to have easily persuaded you.

It didn't seem to be getting dark, considering the sun was still out, but it didn't mean that time wasn't going to pass.

You hummed to a random tune while walking, slightly kicking some rocks along the way. Victoria, who was leading the way, seemed to be as happy as ever. The both of you traveled for a while, and you seemed to notice your hunger growing.

"Hey, Vivi?" You called. "Yeah?" She responds, turning around to slightly face you. "I'm getting quite hungry, could we stop for a bit so I can check my suitcase if I brought any snacks?" You asked, jokingly pointing your two fingers together.

Vivi slightly chuckled as she nodded "Alright, we can stop for a bit. Don't take too long!" She says.

You sat down near some rocks that had a less grassy area, trying to be careful so as to not encounter any dendro slimes. You pulled out your suitcase and unzipped it to check if you had any left over snacks from last time.

Unfortunately, you couldn't find any fruits or treats in your bag. You messed around only to find your clothes, however you did have some water left, thankfully.

You sighed internally, you remembered how you ate all of the food you got from your last visit in another small town, and didn't save any left. If only you had listened to Vivi's reminders about preserving your food, but your distracted mind couldn't help it..

You zipped up your suitcase and strolled back to where Victoria was standing. You sighed heavily, not saying a word. Somehow by your sigh, Vivi could already tell what was going on.

"No food?"

"Yep..." You said, slightly groaning to yourself in hunger. "This is why I told you to save your food, N/N~" She teased as you slightly rolled your eyes. "Okay, okay, I know! I got too hungry last time and didn't save up enough food.." You said, admitting in defeat.

"Alright then, well..." She pauses for a bit to look around for any berry bushes or trees until she spotted a Sunsettia tree. "There! Over there! There's a Sunsettia trees over there, I'm sure there's plenty enough for the both of us." She says, suddenly pointing at the fruit tree that was slightly away from the both of you.

"*Sigh* Alright, I'll be back.." You lazily walked over to the tree, leaving your suitcase with Vivi. As you slowly walked over there, you had already began imagining the sweet taste of the plump fruit. Feeling yourself drooling, you hurriedly went up to the tree and began picking a few of them, being careful not to drop any as your arms couldn't hold so much.

Suddenly, you noticed a blue glow next to the tree. You raised your eyebrow in suspicion. It didn't seem like anything you've seen before, and it definitely wasn't you either. You paused to inspect whatever it was, stepping back in case it wasn't anything dangerous.

Suddenly, it expanded. It formed into what looked like a human sized portal, and this time it was mixed with dark blue, purple, pink, and yellow.

'W-What in the world..?!' You jumped a little at the sudden change, your eyes widening in shock. This time, you were definitely getting worried.

Feeling scared, you wanted to run back to Vivi first before actually investigating it - You were scared something would have happened to you if you did. However to your dismay, a sudden force began to pull you in.
