⚠️SH⚠️After throwing up a couple more times and drinking some water Jisung had collected his thoughts. Well he had collected them enough.
He had to apologize to Minho. He couldn't remember anything that happened and he felt horrible, guilty even.
"Hey Chan..." Jisung whisperd a lot of the boys had gone back to sleep.
"What's up?" He immediately gave Jisung his attention.
"Where does Minho work? Like address?" He licked his lips shifting his eyes anywhere but Chans. Chan couldn't help but Laugh.
"He works at Dance til' dawn. The one down the street from here." The older smiled and layed his head back down on a pillow.
"Are you going to apologize?"
"How'd you know that?!" Jisung whispered pressing his finger over Chans lips. It wasn't ideal for everyone to know where he was going.
"My fatherly scenes were tingling." Chan wiggled his fingers and Jisung rolled his eyes. "Seriously though, just be careful."
Jisung nodded and sneakily approached the door. Thankfully no body woke. He gave Chan a quick smile and thumbs up before leaving.
"He's so starstruck..." Chan murmured to himself
☕️
Dance til' dawn. Jisung knew this place one of his ex friends worked here too. It was basically a dance academy but for really good dancers. Getting in was extremely hard.
He took a deep breath and opened the double glass doors trying to blend in. There was a receptionist and millions of hallways leading to different rooms.
"Sorry excuse me... do you know where Lee Minho would be?" Jisung shyly asked hopping she would just point him to the right room.
"Who are you?"she rudely asked looking up from her computer.
"Just a friend, of Minhos."
"He actually doesn't have any friends." The lady chomped her gum. She definitely didn't know Minho.
"And who are you?" Jisung gave her a snarky look not wanting to put up with her.
"Kim Minjee, I'm Minhos girlfriend."
It felt like he had been shot in the chest. He couldn't tell if it was the fact that Minho kissed him even though he had a girlfriend. Or maybe it was something else. He had to tell her. Right?
How did Minho not say anything about a girlfriend. All of his friends said he was single. She had to be lying.
"Minhos single?" Jisung said it like a question.
"Oh no he just says that all the time."
Jisung didn't know who to believe. Who would be in a relationship and say they're single all the time? It makes absolutely no scene.
"Minjee! Stop telling people we're together!" Minho had just walked out of his dance room and heard the argument.
"Can't we be together though?" She tucked her hair behind her ear trying to get Minhos attention.
"No, we broke up for a reason. I hate having to deal with you everyday. I can probably get you fired you know?" Minho slammed his hand on the desk. He was pissed.
"Geez, whatever." She rolled her eyes. "Have fun with your ugly-ass friend." She waved her hand at both of them.
Ugly? Jisung thought. Ever since he and his ex broke up he's had horrible image issues. This really wasn't helping.
"Fuck you Minjee." Minho thew a pen at her grabing Jisung and pulling him down the long hallway.
"Don't listen to her. She's just fucked in the head." Minho told him still walked further down the hall. His grip tightened on Jisungs wrist.
All Jisung could think about was a word. The word Ugly. It was just a word but for some reason it hurt. And it repeated in his head nonstop.
"And... you're far from ugly. Don't worry about what she said." They had stoped on the hallway and Minho was smiling into Jisungs eyes.
Far from ugly. It was like the word in his head was wipped and replaced with new ones. This time he could hear Minhos voice in each word.
"Thank you... oh my god! I just came here to say sorry. I'm so sorry." He frantically tried to pull something out of his pocket. He finally got the kiss out. (The chocolate kiss guys)
"It was in my pocket and you deserve it." Jisung handed him the kiss. It was probably a little old but it's that thought that counts right?
"Thanks but, stop saying sorry. Look, I got four or five hours a sleep. That's plenty. It's not your fault for drinking or anything like that." Minho reassured him taking the kiss. He couldn't pass it up.
"Did you walk here?" Minho asked furrowing his brows.
"Yeah, I don't really have a car." Jisungs smile was awkward.
"You don't have a car?!"
"No! No! I just mean you drove me to Chans!" Jisung quickly corrected himself waving his hands infront of each other.
Minho smiled at how cute he was. Jisungs smile was like a heart. One that healed his.
"Again I'm so sorry about Minjee. She's... just... she's been through a lot. Of course that doesn't give her the right to say those things to you though." Minho sighed. Minjee had been through a lot. Minho was her first relationship after having a toxic boyfriend.
She was abused by her boyfriend. When she mentioned Minho it was like she didn't know any better and took her anger out on Minho. They ended it after that. Minjee doesn't forgive herself. She tend to take her anger out of strangers.
"No it's okay. I swear I've heard that one to many times from my ex!" Jisung laughed showing his heart smile again.
"He called you ugly!?" Minhos was shocked. Han Jisung being called ugly was so unfathomable to him.
"It was fine!" He smiled again awkwardly.
It wasn't fine. Minho knew that.
"Sorry, I need to get back to class...uh bye." Minho waved it was painstakingly awkward. Jisung did that same painful wave.
☕️
Shit. You're such a fuck-up Jisung. How could you just express your past like that. And to someone you barely know? What the fuck!
Without a noise he slipped into the bathroom back at Chans. He met the pink lighter once again. Once again flame to skin with that same bittersweet feeling.
