Mind clouds swirling in the sky
the gods are angry
lightning bolts crackle, neurons fire
the storm within causes widespread destruction
the dam breaks, the city floods
the chaotic winds strip the trees
and wipe the land clean
all is debris to be dumped elsewhere
broken pieces of lives
And who left has the energy and hope
to attempt to rebuild?
