MyaPOV
"Keep an eye on him." I said and the young ones nodded agreeing to keep an eye on Charlie. I ran back to the battle and then the sand started to fly around a bit until a guard appeared in front of me. I gasped in fear and ran the other way. It flashed in front of me just as I got to the wall that marked where FEAR territory starts."I fell onto my butt as it came closer to me. I scooted back but it was too quick of course. I don't know why but I held up the necklace Prophet gave to me, feeling like it could protect me. The guard knocked it away from me and thrust the pointed end of its weapon into my gut. I fell flat on my back with a scream and then a groan.
It vanished and I reached for the necklace. Feeling the medal under my hand I had no strength to grasp it as my blood polled around me and the beautiful piece of jewelry. "I love you, Cathleen, Prophet." I let a tear slip as I saw Prophet walking to me.
I told him before battle if anything happened to me, not to shed a tear. Not one. I hope he sticks to that promise... Just as I thought that I saw a bright white light and my father's face above me.
ProphetPOV
I ran and ran until I got to the territorial marked wall. I came from behind it and saw a black figure. Mya... I slowly walked to the body, bracing myself and successfully holding in my tears. I won't break my promise. I won't shed a tear. I knelt down beside her and felt on her cheek and neck for a pulse. Nothing. She's gone. I sighed, holding the warm salty tears before lifting her body into my arms and making my way to camp. The battle's won. Craig was even defeated after one last battle cry from his mouth, Destroyer brought him down. I made it back to camp and all the REBELS came running out. The other four came up behind me and kneeled or bend down by Mya like I was. New REBELS behind them as they walked back.
I heard a familiar cry and looked to see Cathleen being shielded by Nessy and a teary eyed Charlie at her side. I sighed walking to Cathleen and taking her in my arms. "At least I have you. My baby." I kissed her forehead as Vanna and Nessy ran to Mya's lifeless body. "Your mother was a very stubborn woman. She'll always be here though." I smiled sadly at Cathleen before I felt a drop on my face.
I looked up and nothing. "I'll always be there." I heard and saw Mya with an older man and in a white dress that looked amazing on her. Her skin like a porcelain doll's free of warpaint. "I know." I whispered with a smile. "Goodbye Prophet. My love." She kissed my cheek. "Goodbye my daughter." She kissed her forehead. "Come on hun." The man smiled. "Okay Dad." She smiled.
"Go look at the FEAR walls. I made a surprise for you guys." She said before disappearing. I turned around and they all stood stunned. "Did you see her too?" I asked and they nodded with dumbfounded faces. "Thank god I'm not crazy!" I exclaimed and everyone chuckled.
Then they looked grimly as CC and Ashley put Mya in a metal casing for a burial later on. "Well? Let's go see." CC said and we all went to look. We got in sight of the FEAR walls just in time to watch it collapse to the ground. We all cheered and I think everything was going to be okay now. I looked at a giddy Cathleen. For her as well...
And as if Mya hadn't given us enough it started to rain which caused everyone to cheer louder while I covered a laughing Cathleen. "THANK YOU MYA!!" Everyone screamed while laughing. "Thank you." I whispered before we went to give Mya a proper burial before the ground gets too wet.
And the end...
Thank you for being amazing and sticking with me through this story.
