Prologue Part 1

It's the 17th September 1977 and breakfast has just started. The Marauders are now in their last year of Hogwarts and are eating breakfast and as usual, making a mess (apart from Moony of course). Lily Evans is rolling her eyes at James' seventh attempt this morning to ask her out. The Slytherins are still pissed off at the prank that had been pulled on them yesterday. For 50 hours they were cursed to be wearing Gryffindor robes and have stormy rain clouds following them around.

Suddenly, Fawkes swoops into the Great Hall and drops a letter in Dumbledore's porridge with raspberry jam. He frowns (while McGonagall snickers quietly) opening the letter. It says:

To the year of 1977:

We are from the year of 1988. In the future, there is a second wizarding world war. We have suffered immense casualties and would prefere to prevent this from happening again. We are sending eight movies along with ourselves to your time.

Please escort students that under fourth years from the Great Hall. We will do the rest.

Dumbledore stood up and went around the table, standing at his gold podium. He asks for silence. "Silence, please." No one hears so he yells, "SILENCE PLEASE." 

Everyone shuts up.

"Lessons will be cancelled for all students today. First, second and third years please leave the Hall. You have the rest of the day off to do what you want on one condition: do not enter the Hall. You may go to Hogsmead. To get food, please tickle the pear in the painting by the Hufflepuff common room. That is all."

While all students cheer and the younger ones start leaving the Hall, the older years start whispering, wondering what could be going on.

A few minutes later, the Hall doors open...
