Chapter 4: Surprise!

(A/N: Yo, wassup? I was reading a fanfic earlier and it had over 1million reads and I was like, I'm freaking out that 22 people have read this book and she has over 1 mill???? Mia's P.O.V.:

All the rest of the way the boys were raving about how "she can sing". Well, Calum and Michael were raving. Ashton was whispering to Luke the whole way.

Me? I was watching Colleen Ballinger on YouTube. (A/N: go subscribe rn she's awesome. the vid ima talk about is so funny) In one of her 'Colleen's Corner' video's she describes Calum, Michael, and Luke (somehow she didn't see Ashton) this way, "the edgy one with the skunk hair (Michael), the gay boy who's the lead singer (Luke), and the token ethnic boy (Calum)".

I was laughing so hard by the end of her description of the boys that all four of them looked up at me.

"What's so funny?" Luke asks.

"Do you guys know who Miranda Sings is?" I say, still laughing.

"Yes..." Michael says.

"Well, um, Colleen, the girl who plays Miranda, has her own channel and in one of her videos she watches the music video of "She Looks So Perfect" and, um, she kinda says that Michael is the 'edgy one with skunk hair' Luke as the 'really cute gay boy who's the lead singer', and Calum is the 'token ethnic boy'." By the end of it I'm laughing so hard that even the driver asks Luke "Is she OK?" and Luke says, "I'm not sure" and looks back at me.

"What about me?" Ashton asks with a fake pout on his face, which makes me laugh even harder.

Luke is just staring at me, Michael is laughing with me, Calum looks at me with a weird look on his face. Ashton still has the pout on.

"She didn't see you, hidden by those drums." I tell Ashton, and Luke finally breaks. He cracks up and Calum says, "Token ethnic boy? What's that supposed to mean?" and begins to laugh as well.

Ashton suddenly says, "Guys! We're here!" and we all stop laughing, except Michael.

"Michael!" I say, smacking him lightly.

The plan is for me to walk with them to their gate, get all sad and say goodbye to all of them, then board the plane as soon as possible.

"I'll just walk with you to your gate, okay?" I say, all sad. Luke holds back a laugh as Ashton nods sadly.

"Mia, will you help me with my bags?" Luke says. This was also part of my plan, for me to pack in one of Luke's other suitcases so it wouldn't look suspicious. "Of course." I say, acting the part.

I take Luke's (my) suitcase out of the back and wait for the other boys to get their stuff.

"Gosh Luke, why do you have two suitcases? One for all your makeup?" Michael jokes. I giggle as Luke looks panicked for a second, then shrugs and laughs it off.

Luke's P.O.V.:

I'm nervous. What if Michael or Calum finds out that Mia's going? Worse, what if ASHTON finds out Mia's going. It'd ruin the whole plan. Okay Luke, calm down.

Calum's P.O.V.:

Still can't believe that girl called me the token ethnic boy.
