It's been about three days since the rooftop encounter with the cutie. And I decided wanted to go up top and pay her a visit. I knock on Dad's office door.

"Enter Jinx" he said.

I poke my head through the door and see dad handling some kind of paperwork. He pauses what he's doing and looks up at me.

"Hey dad, I'm going topside for a little bit. Hope you don't mind" I was gonna walk out but he stopped me.

"Wait"

Oh boy.

"What's up dad?"

He looked at me,a serious expression taking over his face. That usually only happens when I fucked up or I have to fix someone's fuck up.

"You've caused a lot of havoc topside in the past two days.It makes things particularly difficult with keeping our connections topside." He said, putting his papers down and folding his hands on top of them.

No I haven't!I only killed one guy. And blew up two buildings. And killed a few enforcers and set off multiple paint bombs at a wedding. And...okay,yea.

"You may have a point there. But I wasn't going to cause havoc" I argued.

He just gave me a skeptical look with an eyebrow raise.

"Cmon!I'm telling the truth.I'm not going up there to blow up any buildings or people" I plead.

"Then why are you going?" He asked, looking back to his papers.

Uhh.Should I tell him?Would he believe me?Would he trust me not to flip out?

"Jinx." He said sternly.

Fuck it.

"I'm going to see someone"

The way his head flipped up so fast you'd think I just told him I was pregnant.

"Jinx, you shouldn't be speaking to topsiders.Especially since they know who you are!"

"But she's different. She doesn't act like other topsiders. Plus she's covered for one of my explosions already" I attempt to reason with him.

Dad seemed to be deep in thought before letting out a heavy breath. He looked at me, his eyes softening.

"Just be careful Jinx. And make sure to let me know when you get back"

I smiled and ran up to hug him.

"Thanks Dad!Love you!" I yell before running out of his office.

35 Minutes Later

I make my way to the cutie's house only to notice that it doesn't seem like she's here. I go to the window of what seems to be her bedroom and let myself in, surprisingly it's open. Not so surprisingly, her room is crazy different from other piltie rooms.
