An emotional suffering that one experience after the end or loss of a loved one or a close relationship. A real pain of heartbreak can be felt only if one had truly loved someone.
Taehyung got back home early morning at 6 AM. He had quite a stressful night with unconscious Hana and her emotional father. The little girl had sudden asthma attack at night and passed out by the time they reached hospital. Urgent medication saved her life but her father was devastated.
Taehyung felt terrible for leaving Yoongi in the hospital although Jimin promised to stay with him. He wanted to speak with Jungkook, more than that, he wanted to celebrate Jungkook's birthday. The doctor is unsure if Jungkook even came back home last night but he has a tiniest bit of hope.
The moment he gets in, he sees him, palms covering face, body leaned forward, elbows balanced on his thighs.

"Jungkook, when did you get back?" Taehyung walked towards him in a concerned expression. As soon as he moved his hands, Taehyung witnessed a puffy red eyes still brimming with tears. "Don't you dare touch me. I tired to forgive you twice already. I thought I was overreacting, overthinking or maybe misunderstood you but I can't bluff my own eyes." Jungkook pushed the Taehyung's hand that was near his cheek.
"What did I do to you? It's you who went around to other people's apartment, laughing and smiling with them. It's you who wanted to spend your birthday with your boyfriend." Taehyung couldn't control his emotions as he lashed out at his husband.
"Where were you last night?" Jungkook stood up to match Taehyung's eyes, standing just inches apart. "I —I left a note for you. I had an emergency case so I had to be there at the hospital." Taehyung stammered as he got intimidated by the proximity of the idol.
"So do you hug all your patients' fathers or just the single ones?" Jungkook cupped the doctor's elbow in a strong grip which almost hurt the other.
"No Jungkook, what are you saying?"
~Flashback~
Seeing the effort Taehyung made for Jungkook's birthday, the idol's heart softened with a hope. He immediately headed to hospital to make sure his husband was doing okay and to apologise for not getting back home before midnight.
When he saw Taehyung, his smile instantly dropped. He hid behind the wall, with a clenching fist. Taehyung was hugging Yoongi closely, patting on his back. That was more than enough for the idol to hate his husband even more.
~End of Flashback~
"You were in hospital and you were hugging your boyfriend." Jungkook gritted through his teeth.
"Yoongi is Hana's father. She was unconscious and not breathing. Being her doctor and their friend for 3 years, it's only natural to console a grieving parent. Why would I otherwise hug him?" Taehyung couldn't believe Jungkook actually came to hospital late at night to check on him and witness what he did.
