Howard Stark

Mr. Stark and I reached to the new room. Well technically saying that it was room would be a shame because it was huge and really beautiful, it was filled with a lot of equipments, from weapons to a pile of files on a big table. Behind it were huge monitors, one was different from another.
"Sorry it's a bit messy, I don't usually work with people." Mr. Stark said while he removed a pile of papers from the table. "Ohh, this is embarrassing, I just got this place and I have already created a mess." He continues.
"It's alright I'll help you clean." I said while I arranged all the file and books in a column.
There was a knock on the door and Ed was there, he was the coffee guy and he makes really nice coffee, tea for those who want.
"Coffee or Tea sir and madam?" He said.
"Yes well two coffee-" Mr. Stark said. Then stopped and asked me,"You'll coffee or-"."Yeah coffee" I said.
Ed gave us coffee while we sat on our chairs. "Let's just introduce ourselves before we start. I'm Howard Stark." He said. "I'm Y/n, and I'll be assisting you Mr. Stark."
"Just call me Howard or Stark." He said.
"Alright Mr. Stark, I mean Howard." I replied.

We studied the files for hours, Stark explained me concepts about his theory which made me realise that he was really genius more than I thought.

It was now the time of departure, while I was studing about a compound under microscope Stark said,"Don't mind but can you stay for a few hours more untill we finish this up?" Howard asked.
"No problem sir, anything for the country." I replied.
"Stark" He said with a smile.
"Well Peggy told you'd do that." I said after a pause. "Hey you know Peggy?" Stark questioned. "Oh yeah I do she's my friend." I answered. "Mine too." Stark said with another smile.

After a few hours as we were done with the work, we finally wrapped up and left the office, except the guards and a bodyguard of Stark there was nobody. We said our goodbyes and left.

Two months later.

On Sunday evening, I picked up a simple green dress from my wardrobe, not too fancy and not too simple, just something you'd wear while meeting your friend.
I brushed my hairs and just applied a lipstick as makeup.
Just then I heard the bell ring of my house, he's here. I opened the door said,"Hi Bucky."
He replied with a hello and we went out of my building, "So you're ready to eat from the best restaurant of Brooklyn ?" He said. And I replied with an,"indeed."
After walking for 10 minutes we finally reached the restaurant. We sat on the table of two near the window. When waiter came Bucky ordered for of us saying that this is the best of here.
"So how work is going on?" I asked.
"Pretty good but alone, I don't have a person to hang out with while breaks." He said on which I just smiled.
"What do you do in breaks ?" He asked after a second.
"Well breaks work really different while working with Stark, Peggy was damn right. Stark only takes break whenever something from the to do list is done." I answered.
"You call him Stark? I mean he's your boss technically." He asked.
"Well he told me so the time we first talked. He's kinda a friend now." I answered.
"And what's up with the to do list?" His next question came.
"Well we create a list of what work we are going to do tomorrow at the end of the day and it makes thing pretty disciplined. You should try that too." I said to which he nodded and said again, "So what do you do when you finally take break." He asks again.
"We usually just go for Ed's coffee and talk. But as we are progressing in our research we are spending more time on work."
"How much time would it take to complete research?"
"I assume about a month until we get the serum but we don't know how much time it would to conduct experient on a soldier. It totally depends on the government's order."
Then the food came and Bucky said to take a bite. I took a bite and yeah it was delicious, I haven't had such a great meal. As I took a bite the taste spread through all across my mouth.
"It's the best thing I've ever had. Why didn't I try this before!" I exclaimed.
"Don't underestimate my taste of food!" He said which made me laugh.
"What type of food is your favourite?" I asked.
"Italian. Yours ?"
"Indian"
"Too spicy too eat." He said which made me laugh instead my breath.
After a few random talks I asked, "Hey Bucky, you were telling me about your friend Steve, that he wanted to join the army, so did he get in ?" I asked.
"He didn't. He've got medical conditions." Bucky said and he looked sad.
I covered his hand with mine which was on the table and said,"It's going to fine. Your friend have faith and guts, which really matters."
"I'd like to meet Steve one day." I said.
