The Barian world. The red energy world resembling the Astral world but is the mirror opposite. It is ruled by the deity Don Thousand, who was sealed away at the Barian Sea by Astral many millenniums ago. However, Don Thousand was not worried. He knew one day he would be set free. But until then, he was looking over his world. It was created from crystals, tundra, and rocks in the purest form of chaos. How could it not when the Astrals had exiled all chaos from their world? The Astrals were fools. Chaos and order go hand in hand, but for now, they would wreck what they sow. They would see the errors of their ways soon enough.
The deity did have a lot to do before any of that. Because he was sealed away, he needed someone to rule in his place. He had already revived several of the lost souls who had fought in wars in the human world. Wars led to more conflict which was created by those puppets he had influenced. Don Thousand was quite pleased with himself. It caused the demise of those so-called heroes on Earth, and he had gained their souls for his evil purposes. He needed someone to illustrate his rules and regulations and make citizens obey them. But not without conflict. Don Thousand needed some entertainment. It could take centuries before he had his freedom. They would serve his purpose if he altered their personalities a tiny bit. Nash would make sure of that.
Speaking of Nash, Don Thousand had already begun to bring him back. He was the favored ruler and the strongest in comparison. He had become a servant by choice without any manipulation. Thou, Don Thousand has had a finger in play manipulating events prior, which caused Nash to seek revenge against Vector. After his puppet had killed Nash's entire army, twin sister, and sweet little Iris how could he not? They had made a deal. Nash had singlehandedly managed to defeat Vector's remaining army and defeated the evil ruler in another shadow game. For that feed alone, Don Thousand gained Nash's soul and he would become one of the Barian emperors. Maybe even the emperors of the emperors.
Many people had entered this world as lost souls already. Many were Nash's former soldiers from the land of Poseidon. Only lingering regrets, negative emotions, and dark desires allowed you to be reborn in this world. Considering how Vector treated his men, many of them were relieved when dying, and therefore would not show up here in the Barian world. It was another reason why it had to be Nash, and wherever Nash goes, his twin sister Marin follows.
Don Thousand chuckled darkly. He needed to revive Vector as well. He could be useful in the future. Not to mention keep Nash on his toes. This was a world of chaos there had to be some unpredictability. Of course, their memories and appearances need to be altered. Being former enemies, Don Thousand could not risk them killing each other. At least not yet. No, he needed someone to keep that from happening, and who better than Nash's former best friend Dumon? He was intelligent, courageous, and had a certain way with rules. He could keep Nash from getting too outraged.
Sure, Don Thousand still needed at least 3 more Barians. It mirrored the number seven. Seven Mytherian numbers were sealing away his powers, therefore there had to be seven emperors. It was a way of balance but for now, those 4 would suffice. A few things still needed to be established. Don Thousand flicked with his wrist and 4 giant crystals were created inside this red Barian palace. He let thunder strike. Now all he had to do was wait.
Nash's p.o.v.
Nash had a feeling he was floating. More like drifting, drifting inside some warm and comfortable... something. Nash was not sure what it was, he had his eyes closed, but it was a warm, relaxing feeling, that caused him to feel sleepy. He didn't want to open his eyes. He let out an exhausted groan. He moved his hand. A jolt went through his body, and he was filled with this strange energy. He could move his hand better. His fingers hit a hard smooth surface. Was this glass? Or crystal? Everything around him felt weird and strange. Even with his eyes closed, Nash could sense everything around him. There were unfamiliar smells, winds, and rocks. He was kept in something unfamiliar too, but Nash wasn't worried. He knew he wasn't going to be hurt. He sensed red colors for his inner eye.
