I had a boyfriend at the time we met,called Jamie. In fact that's how we met... Jamie decided to invite me to go ice skating with him his friend Ben and Jack. So happily I agreed and arranged with my friend Gemma to go together and meet them there. All week I was so excited for Friday night to come. The week seemed to go so slowly the world seemed to almost stopped. Finally Friday morning came. I packed my bag and headed to school. The day seemed to go really fast and in no time I was walking to Gemma's to get ready for the night ahead.
Excitedly we got changed out of our school uniform and into our more casual clothes, jeans and a top. I did my hair and makeup and Gemma did her hair. We had pizza for tea and had half an hour before we set off at 6:45. I packed up all my stuff and shoved it messily into my bag. I put my money in my pocket and went to brush my teeth (I always brush my teeth before going anywhere). When I finished Gemma was already downstairs so I grabbed my bag and headed towards the kitchen. As I opened the door into the room I accidentally hit Gemma, who was stupidly sat behind it, so we had a laughing fit. As per usual. I slipped on my shoes and made my way out to the car. We both sat in the back and sang along to the radio with every song we knew. And of course did a little dance. As the excitement built so did the butterflies. I had never met Jamie out side of school before and I hadn't met Ben in real life only on video chat, then there was Jack who I'd never even spoken to before.
