Chapter Five
*five yrs. later*
I feel so old, Jamie's nine, I'm twenty-nine, and you'd be thirty-one. He loves to swim, he plays soccer, football, and started baseball. He's very smart, all a's not only that but he's in an advanced placement class. He loves to read, and play guitar. He's just like you. He and Emmie hang out everyday. I graduated from college and got a job, I'm officially a nurse. I love this job, I have Perfect-ish hours. I get to see jamie in the morning and work at night. It's a part-time job, but it's a job and the salary get us by with some extra spending money. Every month i take Jamie to see you he cries sometime, i cry every single time. I miss you, and Jamie wishes he got a chance to know and meet you. Whenever Jamie asked why you were the one to die I'd say
"Heaven was needing a hero".
Matthew thinks I should move on but i just can't. Anyway this weekend we're going to the mountains all of us. Jamie, your mother, your brother, and I. All of us, and we're going to patch this family up. Your mother and brother may think i'm crazy, but atleast they agree on something. Right?
love,
