The Brandt family is quite a rich one which worked in the finances. Though, it seems like the Countess is still wary of her position because she is unable to give birth to a boy. I can't blame her though, this is a damn patriarch times where no matter how smart and capable you are to lead the house, if you're not a man, you're not allowed to be the heir.

Pfft, sucks.

The first thing I do when I entered Claudine's body is reading all sorts of books in the library, of course without the Count's permission. I had to sneak in every night and bring around 3 books to read in my room. I did this to make sure the smart Claudine didn't vanish when I took over her body.

I prioritize reading mostly the history and economy books to get insight of my current situation. Well, of course, I can't say that I immediately understand all of them. I'm not a genius, but at least I'll try to comprehend everything in a short time. At least until the countess tries to introduce me to the Herhardt family, that's it.

It would be fun if I had the chance to make contributions in the findings of this time. Like in the economy, technology- HOLD ON!! I COULD???? RIGHT???

Heck, that's it! I'll make my own money, build my own so called 'empire' and slacking off after being a rich RICH woman.

Sure, let's work on that goal for Claudine's bright future. Ah, of course, let's try to prevent that lover boy Riette from dying. Claudine loves him anyway.

I let out a yawn after seeing a light trying to seek into my room. Welp, I forgot to sleep.

I close the book that I currently read and hide it on a small table at the bedside. Deciding to have a few hours nap before the maid wakes me up.

Being sleepy at midday is an understatement. Sitting up straight in my seat as I try to keep my eyes open and pay attention to what my tutor says. But, God, it's difficult as I almost dozed off several times.

"Lady Brandt, have you gotten enough sleep last night? I see that you almost fell asleep several times by now"

No, shit.

"I'm terribly sorry, Madam. I was practicing the etiquette you've taught me last Wednesday until midnight"

"Oh dear, I understand your eagerness for learning, but taking a good rest at night is also an important thing to keep your body healthy, Lady Brandt. Please, do not practice at the time where you should have rested" being patience as ever, she said to me in a soft tone.

"Understood, Madam. Thank you for your concern"

Trying to stay focused is hard but I manage until the lesson end. The next 2 hours I used to take a nap at my room before having a piano and violin practice until the sun goes down. After saying goodbye to my tutor, I went back into my room to take a rest.

Well, I can say that I'm quite fond of learning musical instruments since I was a child. So, having the chance to actually learn it and having a tutor for it is something I'm grateful about.

Music is beautiful, and the difference in genres and styles just adds more touch into it. I can say the same for anime and mangas.

Oh my gosh, how i missed reading those things!

If only I still had my phone- no, even if I did have my phone, what use it will do? There's no internet connection after all, and there's certainly no one publishing an online comic anyway.

Arghhh, now I even started to regret being thrown into this world!

If I cannot find something like that, I just need to invent that, right?

Ugh, I don't even know what I should do when I grow up!

Should I contribute to the literature? Economy? No, technology? But, making a partnership with someone who is knowledgeable in the healthcare fields is also an interesting idea. Like, I could make a collaboration to create a skincare and make up brand with them???

Goddamnit!!!

If I ever stick to those plans, I'm sure I'm gonna be one hell of a busy person. Then what? Should I say goodbye to my slacker life? Ain't no way!

I let out a deep breath as I close the book in my hand, staring at it with tired eyes. Guess I'll continue my study for tomorrow, I thought to myself as I close my eyes, drifting off to sleep.
