jade's pov

although i was meant to be sleeping, i just lay there, awake, still thinking about the kiss that i shared with johnnie on the beach.

i didnt even realise it at the time, but i think i have a huge crush on johnnie guilbert, and i don't even know if he feels the same way.

'jade ? are you alright ? why are you still awake'

'johnnie ?'

'yes ?'

'can i ask you something ?'

'of course, what's up ?'

'do you like me too ?'

'of course jade, why else do you think i kissed you back on the beach ?'

'i can't help it, but, you've got me so scared to love you johnnie. because i don't think you'd care.'

'jade, of course i do. come here' he says, gesturing me for a hug.

now, instead of laying alone, staring at the ceiling, i was lay in johnnie's arms, and him in mine as he kissed me again, then begun to drift off to sleep again.

we fell asleep in a deep hug, and woke up peacefully in each others arms. where i felt safe.
