I'm seated at the table , feeling out of place . I occasionally steal glances at Vivaan , Yeah vivaan but he seems bored as he type away on his phone .
I looked all over the drawing room where we were sitting and it was screaming richness at me .I mean we are rich but Raghuvanshi's are richest. One of top ten family's in the world .
Today is d-day where our families have come together to decide the dates of my and Aarav's wedding. Aarav , who seems as bored as vivaan was just sitting there like a zombie .
His parents and my parents were having a discussion with Pandit ji . I am not having a great feeling about it , at first I was ready for the marriage but then reality hit me hard and now I want to get rid of this situation . Yesterday when Aarav dropped me off to my apartment after taking me to doctor , we had decided that today he will tell about his relationship with siya to his family . But now i feel he is still not ready to spill the beans.
You know what I think , I think he is not courageous enough to go through this confrontation with his family .
Sometimes I wished that vivaan had said yes to the idea of our marriage, I would be living a dream . ( Ohh God! Anaisha what are thinking , you couldn't tolerate him in office , and tolerating him my whole life , no a big NO.......)
My mother's voice brought me out of my thoughts . " Anaisha beta , Where is your attention ? we have been calling you for last 1 minute " she said , with a hint of scolding present in her voice .
Just as I was about to speak , my future mother-in-law cut me off and started teasing me by saying, " Let it be Shikha bai sa , she would be busy thinking about my son " to which I replied by a tight smile . Ohh God ! this is so embarrassing .
After her statement I heard the voice of footsteps , I looked towards the direction from where the voice was coming to see Mr. Raghuvanshi aka Vivaan leaving from there , his mother tried to stop him but he excused himself by saying it was some work from office .
Then Aarav's mother looked at me and him and said, " Aarav beta , go and show the house to my future daughter-in-law."
I was going to deny the offer but before that Aarav replied her by saying " Of course Mom! " Then he looked towards me and said " Anaisha, come I'll show you around " I looked into his eyes and gestured him , that I didn't want to go anywhere but he again said " Come Anaisha "
Now I had to go with him , I stood up from my place and moved towards him , he forwarded his hand to me as he wanted to put a show for our family's, he did it often but thus time i denied his hand and moved forward. He looked at me with a hint of anger in his eyes but covered it up with a smile and moved towards me to show me the direction.
As soon as we were out of our family's sight , Aarav took a hold of my hand in a tight grip which made me wince in pain and dragged me towards the end of the corridor.
As we were there he pushed me against the wall , he didn't loosened his grip on my hand which made me angry " Are you out of your mind , leave my hand." I yelled at him , I again tried to free my hand from his grip but it didn't bother him and he tightened his grip and twisted my hand at back which made me cry in pain .
I again shouted at him " What the hell , Aarav . You are hurting me " My scream made him come out of his daze , his grip loosened he looked into my eyes and said " Never ! I said never try to disobey me in front of everyone again " His voice dark .
His statement made me angry to an extent which made me burst at him " You bastard, what do you think of yourself. First off all I am the one who is suffering because of you and then you tried this stunt . You know what go to hell , I'll go and tell everyone the reality of this marriage. " with that I started to move towards the drawing room .
Realisation hit Aarav , he rushed towards me and took a hold on the same hand and " Anaisha listen , I am sorry i don't know what happened to me suddenly , please try to understand me. I don't know what is wrong with me " he said in his normal tone .
I winced again because of his hold because of which he left my hand . I looked towards my bruised hand and them at him " Nothing is wrong with you Aarav ! Everything is wrong with me , I trusted you thinking of you as a friend that I never had but you , thank god i came to know about your true face before anything and I will tell everyone about this " I said , my body trembling and my eyes filled with tears .
With that I again started moving towards my family but once again I was stopped by Aarav's hold , not on my hand but on my legs . I looked towards him to see him on his knees , holding my legs ( more like begging me 😒).
" What the heck ! leave me Aarav. What are you doing ?" I said , irritated by his behavior .
" Please Anaisha , please i beg you please don't tell anyone about siya and our relationship. If they got to know about it they will disown me please , you have your parents love without doing anything but I , I had to earn eat everyday by being there perfect son . Please don't snatch it from me " he said , his voice trembling as if he was going to cry .
( Wasn't he is the one who was manhandling me few moments ago and now )
His state made me rethink on my decision but I thought of what he did to me just few moments ago . I pushed him of me and said " Its too late now , you shouldn't have done that" I reminded him of his mistake.
He gulped on his tears and begged " Please Anaisha , please I promise I will not repeat this type behavior again please." his hands again on my legs.
I looked at him , confused about what should I do . What he said was truth that his family is little conservative and hearing about Vivaan and Raj by my mother I was sure that they both were not favourites of Raghuvanshi family they both did what they wanted in there life but , on the other hand Aarav was a perfect son who was willing to do anything for his family . He was like a pet to his family ( no offence). Which made me think that I couldn't ruin his whole life for his one action .
I sighed and said " Get up " he looked towards me and got up from the floor , I continued " I will not tell anyone but think of it as my first and last warning " with that I turned and left from there.
I never in my life thought that the sweetest man I have ever came across would have this type of second personality. As I neared towards the drawing room I tried to stop my tears which were flowing continously from my eyes . ( I know I can be over dramatic sometimes but you have to deal with me )

So this was chapter 5 . I know it is a boring chapter but an important one . So please bear with it .
