I wake up before everyone else is up. I grip my head. I still couldn't see her face. I just want to know. I have to know. I let out a breath. I pull off the covers. I silently carefully open the door. I turn back to him. He'll be fine. I hope.

I pull up my cloak.

"Al?" I hear a voice.

Shit. I turn.

"My darling you're up late." I say to Sherry.

"Where ya going at this hour?" Sherry asks.

"I'm going out for business." I say.

"At this hour? It's 1:30 am." Sherry says.

She walks forward. I hide the mask and the weapon.

"Antony says you're not sleeping." Sherry asks.

"He... told you?" I ask.

"Yes." Sherry says.

"I'm fine my dear. It's just work." I say.

"Work? What kind?" Sherry asks.

"Work. I'm not at liberatory to say." I say.

"I'll suppose I'll let you go. But... are you sure you're okay?" She asks.

"Yes. Completely." I nod.

"Okay. Good night." Sherry closes the door to her room.

"Good night indeed." I hiss.

I take out the knife and my mask.
