"Um, no. This is my room." I say, putting away my knife and switching it to show my key card as well. He steps closer to me to take a better look at the card.
"That's strange." He says without expression. He takes a step back a small sigh escapes from his mouth as he glances over at the dresser next to the TV stand. "I've already unpacked my things in the drawers."
"Why are you here so late anyway?" I asked him, curious as it was nearly 2:30 in the morning.
"I was with Honey. He was having a late night cake craving so we went to a local bakery."
"Oh, I didn't know they were open so late."
"They weren't. He personally called them to come back to bake him something and paid them 10x more than the original price."
"Ah, that's very in character of him," I say with small laughter following after. Mori takes a seat at the end of the bed, looking quite tired. I stay still in my corner.
"Y/n..." He begins, I freeze up hearing him call my name in a low sleepy voice.
"Y-yes?" I respond.
"I don't feel like walking to the front lobby to bother them for another room. Would it be alright if I slept here? On the floor?" He asks, rubbing his neck. Him and I...sleeping in the same room...a tiny room with only one bed. But he offered to sleep on the floor so he wouldn't try anything with me, right?
"Um. Sure." I respond hesitantly. He gets up and begins walking towards me. His eyelids are a little droopy from the need to sleep I'm guessing. I stand still, unsure of where to go. He inches closer to me, I clench my fists and slightly turn my head as our bodies are a little less than a foot away from each other. He reaches down as I slightly bend my face away.
"Pillow." He says as he grabs a pillow from the bed. A small smirk grows on his face as he slowly pulls back, teasing me, almost like he was messing with me on purpose. I had heard rumors of Mori being a flirt when extremely tired and I couldn't tell if this was proof of those said rumors.
"Have you always been this small?" He questions standing a little too close to me still and gently putting his hand on top of my head.
"I think you just grew taller, Mori," I say, taking his hand off with both my hands.
"I guess you haven't grown since grade 8." He teases with a slight smirk reappearing on his face.
"Okay, let's get you to bed. I'm tired." I say and squeeze between him and the bed to escape the corner I was in. I check the closet for extra comforters and pillows but I see none. Meaning the only blanket...
Was the one on the bed.
"Mori-senpai..." I say coming back from checking the closet, only to see him with his head down as he sits on the edge of the bed.
"Mori-senpai. That's the first time you've said that in a while." He says deep in thought. I'm surprised he's taken note of that.
"I don't have any more blankets." I began coming over to grab my card from the nightstand. "I'll just ask to sleep with Haruhi." I turn around only to be tugged back by Mori's hand on my arm.
"We can just sleep on the bed together."
