*Unknown Hunters pov:

We sat by the window of our cell watching our huntress in amusement. She was like a pup learning the ropes. It was honestly adorable. We watched her make discoveries about herself while purring. It was cute but also a little annoying. We should be the ones showing her what to do. She should be learning from us.

"She's perfect and adorable~" Laim purred out. He was excited to have another playmate. He was the youngest in the pack, but that wasn't to be underestimated. He was also the one she had a staring contest with. He wouldn't stop gloating about it when she turned away from him. He was the packs scout. Meaning he was always watching and looking out for dangers for the pack. Signaling us if we need to be careful or cautious. His skills proved to be useful when we were free and out of this prison.

It was agreed amongst ourselves that we needed to escape. But we won't leave our mate behind. She was to come with us regardless. But it might be a lot more difficult than it seems. Considering the way she interacted with that human. Talking and hugging her. Maybe they knew each other before our mate turned.

Axle huffed and started to squirm in his spot as he watched the little huntress pace and growl. He was the second oldest in the pack. He was becoming agitated by the fact they hadn't fed her yet. His protective side is coming out. He wanted to provide for her just like the rest of us, but since he was the enforcer of the group. His instincts were raging. He wanted to help her and guide her with her newfound abilities. Help her hone in those skills to help with the hunt.

To be completely honest, we were all itching to be close to her. To cover her with our scents and to provide for her. She didn't know anything yet. She needed to be protected and cared for. Damian let out a small whimper as he watched her miscalculate a jump and fall to the floor below. Her hood with little cat ears on them shifted slightly, allowing us to see the scars she supported on her eyes. She must have either tried to claw her eyes out like the rest of us or injured herself in another way. He was the third oldest. He was known as the tracker. He was the one who smelt her first. We couldn't figure out why he couldn't stop purring at first. Then we realized what caused him to do that as she fell down the steps just outside of our cell. Just out of reach. Her scent was intoxicating. Causing all of us to go into a frenzy of sorts as we watched her threaten and screech in anger.

Me? I was considered the leader of the pack. I was the biggest, the oldest and most experienced here. The scientists concluded I was the first hunter to exist. The idea made a sense of pride to swell in my chest. No one could match my raw strength and power. I was the alpha. I was the most enraged when the male tried to attack our little huntress. I even tried to escape but was quickly stopped by the display of power the little huntress showed. She was definitely not like the other huntresses. She was more aware and in control of herself than the others. She didn't need help, but that didn't mean we wouldn't back her up.

My attention was brought back to our little mate as we heard a bunch of ripping and clawing noises coming from her cell. A low rumble sounded in my chest as I watched her make a nest out of the bed that was in her cell. She won't be needing that for long. She will be moved over here with us, sooner than she thinks. Our nest will be more than enough for her. We watched as she burrowed into the makeshift nest before poking her head out and scanning her surroundings before her eyes landed on us once again. Making all of us shuffling in our spots. I turned to the pack and motioned for them to come close. We needed to make a plan to speed things up.

*Katrina's pov*

After I was done creating a nest, I was happy with myself, and I burrowed myself deep into the bedding. I started scanning the area as my stomach growled once again. This time, the growl was accompanied by sharp hunger pains. The pain made me whimper and squirm slightly.
