*Katrina's pov*
I knew I desperately needed a shower or bath. But a little voice in my head was screaming for me to fight it. That the water would harm me. I squeaked as Willow gently ushered me away from the pack of hunters toward the stairs. I scrambled to go back to the door, whimpering as I plopped down in front of the door. Willow sighed and rolled her eyes as she put her hands on her hips, staring down at me.
"Come on! Not you too! You need to be washed off, Kat! You're just like the boys! You need a bath to feel better. Dont fight me one this, please. " As she said this, she slowly approached me with her hands held out in front of her, trying to usher me to the stairs. I narrowed my eyes at her and crouched low to the ground. I had no intention of pouncing on her. I didn't want to get wet, let alone becoming stripped of my clothes. I didn't want her to see the extent of the infections' effects on me.
So, to get away from her, i jumped up and clung to the glass wall of the hunters unit, getting out of her reach. Willow huffed and crossed her arms, looking up at me with an annoyed glare. She glanced down at the hunters before returning her gaze to me. A slow smirk spreading on her lips.
"Kat~ It's either you come willing or I put a collar on you and drag you into the bath with me." As she said that, she already had a collar with a leash attached to it. I growled and glared at the collar. I shook my head in her direction as I flipped her off. Earning a chorus of chuckled from the hunters.
"Little huntress~, you're gonna get yourself in even more trouble~," a playful voice sounded on the other side of the glass. Curiously, I dropped down and looked at the one that spoke. Forgetting about Willows' threat for a second. The one that spoke this time was the second biggest hunter. He wore a deep red hoodie. Cloudy emerald green eyes peeked out of the hood along with tussled brown hair. He had black tape around his elbows, wrists, and knees. A pair of ripped black jeans and a pair of wore combat boots on his feet.
Amused by my observation of him, he puffed his chest out and purred. "Bad choice, little one~" It looks like you're getting a bath whether you like it or not now. " Confused, I tilted my head only to feel something wrapping around my neck. I let out a startled squeak before glaring at the hunter.
Looking back at Willow, I pouted. "Oh, don't give me that, Kat! You're getting a bath now!" To emphasize her point, she tugged on the leash. I stayed where I was until she got annoyed and yanked me forward. I let out a yelp as she dragged me away. I huffed in annoyance, giving up and allowing her to lead me away. Not before I glared behind me in the direction of the hunter that distracted me.
"Oh, don't be like that, Katrina. I asked Axle to help me out. You need to be cleaned. It will help stop the infection from spreading to fast. Even the boys fought me on it. But ever since their treatment started, they've been more compliant, less feral." I only huffed as I followed behind her reluctantly. I did how ever take note of the hunters name being Axle. So that's his name. What are the others' names then?
Willow led me into the research lab before turning to a door I didn't notice on the way down here. Inside the room was a single shower with chains hanging from the walls. I stayed by the door, much to Willows dismay. She was growing annoyed with my reluctantance. I wouldn't even get close to the shower.
"Come on, Kat. You'll feel a lot better after your shower." I whimpered and shook my head as I pressed against the wall. Blending into it, this must have surprised Willow because her jaw dropped.
"YOU CAN USE CAMOUFLAGE!?" I flinched at the sudden shout that came out of her mouth. I inched away from her along the wall. Soon enough, I let the camouflage fade away as I glared in her direction. Struggling to form coherent words for her.
