This is a fanfiction based off of the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. I don't claim any of her work as my own, but this world of magic has inspired a few original characters, like Ella Malfoy, Rowena Black, Abelina Lupin, and a few others.
This will be a very long story, with about 200k words in total, and around 60-70 chapters.
On a deeper note, I have always found peace when I can connect with a fictional character's trauma/internal journey through hardships, and writing Ella's story has been very healing for myself. If you have ever experienced things that you identify with in this story, I sincerely hope it makes you feel less alone. Ella's story is, at the end of the day, about healing and how crucial it is to have people who love you unconditionally. It begins innocent, but follows her spiral down into darkness, and as such, there will be exponential themes consisting of: violence, drug use, smut, emotional and physical abuse, attempted suicide, toxic families, mental disorders, amongst others. If this is bothersome in any way, please do not read further. I will list the chapter warnings for the chapters that may be triggering.
Also, even though the characters are English and the story takes place throughout the United Kingdom, I am American and terrible with slang so I'm really sorry if it doesn't sound too accurate.
