Haewon heard a knock about 5 minutes after sending the message.
So he really does live close.
Haewon opened the door and saw Mark standing there scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Hi Haewon"
"Hi Mark, come in"
Haewon moved to the side, allowing Mark to enter. He removed his shoes and followed her to her living room. Mark sat down on the couch and Haewon passed him a glass of water. He took a sip and put it down.
"This is much more awkward than i expected it to be" Mark said with a smile, making her laugh which broke the ice a bit. They chatted for a while and they found out more about each other.
Like Mark is half Canadian and has a job at K-127 Café as a musician and Haewon can play a lot of instruments and is half American.
"Do you wanna go to K-127 Café to have a snack or something?" Mark asked, making Haewon smile at the idea of having a sweet dessert with a nice cup of coffee.
"Sure"
Mark put on his shoes, while Haewon went upstairs and got changed into something nicer.
Haewon locked up the house and the two made their way to the café. They walked of course because it was very near.
"One piece of strawberry cake with one iced coffee please"
The waitress wrote down Mark's order and turned to Haewon. "And for the lady?"
"I'll have a red velvet cupcake and an affogato, thanks"
Haewon smiled up at the waitress. (Im sure you can tell shes a smiley person)
"Ok i'll be back in a bit"
The waitress then left.
A pink haired stared at the two from afar.
"So Haewon, you live alone?" Mark asked. "Yeah, i moved here for uni" Haewon replied. "How old are you again? I saw it on your profile but i forgot" Mark said. "You forgot?!" Haewon exclaimed in a comical way. The two shared a laugh. "Im 23 in korean age" She said. Mark hummed when his attention went to the waitress coming over to their table with their orders.
"This is why I love K-127, their service is amazing"
The two thanked the waitress and she made her way to another customer.
"Mark didnt you say you work here?" Haewon asked. "Yeah but i dont have a shift today" Mark replied, taking a sip of his drink.
Haewon nodded as she pulled out her phone and started taking pictures.
"What are you doing?" Mark raised an eyebrow.
"I never eat before pictures" Haewon said with a small smile as she took a few more pictures and began eating.
