Haewon put down her phone and sighed. At least she made a new friend right? Anyway she was supposed to go over to Mark's house because he literally begged her to meet his family.
So she managed to put together multiple outfits but some werent a meeting someone's family kind of outfit so she ended up choosing something not too formal but not too simple

She made her way to Mark's house and rang the doorbell nervously. When the door opened, she was greeted by a teenage girl with brown hair and cute features.

"Oh you must be Mark's girlfriend?" The girl smiled. "Oh, no im just his-"
Haewon couldnt finish her sentence when Mark pulled her inside. He took her up the stairs. Haewon stared at him confused, before folding her arms and staring up at him.
"Care to explain?"
"Ok so i kind of, maybe...um ikindaliedthatyouremygirlfriend" Mark said quickly, making Haewon squint. "What?"
"You did WHAT?!" Haewon exclaimed, now somehow understanding what he said. "So can you pleaseee pretend to be my girlfriend just for today and then you wont have to see them again pleaseee" Mark was talking in a quiet voice, showing that he actually was telling the truth. Haewon sighed before accepting the situation. "Fine"
"Thank you Hae!!!" Mark had hugged her tightly. Haewon hugged him back and then pulled away.
"Just dont make it obvious"
Downstairs, everyone was seated in the living room.
"Im Mark's cousin, Aera" the teenage girl said with a smile. Haewon liked that she had a similar habit of smiling a lot. Aera reached her hand out which Haewon gladly shook.
"Im Haewon, Mark's..." Haewon glanced at him before continuing. "...girlfriend" She smiled as well.
Mark's parents were also very welcoming towards her, and she really enjoyed the visit although Mark looked very anxious the whole time.
"So when did you meet him" his mother asked. "Oh i met him last year at the Café nearby" Haewon replied, keeping her friendly expression.
The chat went on before it was time for Haewon to leave. She bid her farewells to his family and Mark accompanied her to the door.
She noticed his cousin watching from afar so she leaned in and whispered something in his ear.
"You owe me"
She then flashed another smile before turning and leaving.
Mark smiled to himself before going back in his house and finding his cousin looking at him.
"You really like her,huh?"
Mark just smiled at her again before going to his room.
Haewon was walking down the street when two masked men stood in front of her. She tried to turn and run back to Mark's but there was a third guy behind her.
The first guy tried to grab her purse but she kicked him hard in the stomach. The two other guys charged at her and she closed her eyes and was about to scream when she heard a grunt. She looked up and saw a guy fighting off the criminals.
When the thieves gave up and ran away, her saviour then turned to her and held out his hand.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
Haewon nodded slowly before taking his hand. Then she noticed the guy staring at her.
"Wait, are you Haewon?"
"How do you know my name?" Haewon asked.
"Im Jeno, Hae"
