His vision was black. There were thin cracks in the darkness he could see through. Squinting his eyes to see what was outside hurt his head. Why did it hurt his head? He was sure he had his glasses.... he felt his face. No glasses. He let out a deep sigh, and tried to look outside again. People walking. It was quite obviously a hallway, which he already knew. Lockers. They were a dark green. He began to feel his surroundings. It was very tight and enclosed... but if he squinted his eyes hard enough... dark green. He was in a locker. The boy was aware of this, but he didn't want to accept it. He pondered the thought of this all being a dream, and that he'd wake up any minute. He pinched himself. "Ow!" he yelped. His voice was muffled, and his breathing fastened. He began to breathe faster and faster. The boy never liked enclosed spaces.

"Peter?" the voice was of a female. The boy was not sure where it was coming from, but it wasn't far. The girl approached the locker and peered through the tiny openings. "Peter!" She sounded much more excited. She immediately flung the door open and had a big grin on her face. "There you are! I've been looking all over for you! We were supposed to be on the busses 15 minutes ago!" She chuckles softly after saying this. "I may or may not have been demanding the bus driver to stay until I found you." The girl said slyly with a small smirk on her face. Peter stepped out of the locker and stared at her, wide-eyed. "MJ... you didn't have to do that...." Peter stammered. He was very grateful, but surprised MJ would ever do that for him. MJ laughed. "Of course I did! Now c'mon, I've probably pissed everyone off since they can't go yet." A slight blush forms on Peter's face, but MJ doesn't seem to notice. She tugs at his sleeve and leads him to the busses.

Peter and MJ board the bus. They are met with annoyed glares and a frown from the bus driver. A few loud snickers could be heard, like a pack of hyenas. "Ha, look, guys! Puny Parker was rescued by MJ! Did you have fun in there, Petey? I made sure to stuff you in there extra tight!" Flash Thompson remarks. That big bully was sitting in the back with his other jock friends. Peter remained silent and MJ rolled her eyes. "Lay off, Flash!" MJ hissed. The bus was pretty packed. Barely any seats were available. MJ went to go sit with her friend Gwen Stacy, leaving Peter searching for a seat. "Psst!" A voice whispered. Peter whipped his head around. "Over here!" The voice was louder. It was Peter's good friend, Harry Osborn. Harry wasn't necessarily excited for this field trip, as he goes to Oscorp a lot because of his dad, Norman. Norman Osborn is the CEO of Oscorp.

Peter sat down beside Harry and smiled softly. "I've got your glasses, I had to practically pry them from Flash's hands." Harry said with a grin as he holds Peter's glasses out. Peter takes them and quickly puts them back on. His vision is now much clearer and the blurriness is gone. "Thank you so much! I was worried I'd lose them forever." Peter thanked him gratefully. "What's the problem with that? You could always get another pair." Harry inquired confusedly. "Well, you know. Money is tight. Aunt May has trouble keeping up with the bills." Harry nods understandingly. The Osborn family is incredibly wealthy, so Harry can't relate, but he always tries to understand. The bus started to drive away from the school and headed to Oscorp. Flash and his friends were talking about how boring it would be the whole ride, but Peter was very fascinated by it. He'd always wanted to go to Oscorp. Maybe if I can prove to the guide how smart I am by answering questions or sharing facts, they'll want me to be an intern! Peter wondered.

The bus ride felt long, probably because everyone had to hear Flash's babbling. "Kenny! Ya think I can hit Puny Parker with your football?" Flash asked. Kenny Kong, or King Kong is just another one of those stereotypical jocks Flash is friends with. "Ha, he's all the way in the front! I'll give ya a buck if ya can!" Kenny teased. Kenny tossed Flash the football. They both snickered mischievously as Flash prepared to throw it.

"Do you think your dad will be there?" Peter asked Harry. "Eh, probably not. This is pretty irrelevant to him. He's always so busy." Harry replied, a slight hint of sadness in his voice. "Aw, that sucks. It would be cool if he was ther-" Peter is suddenly cut off by the impact of the football against his head. "OW!!" he shrieks. Harry grits his teeth and looks back to Flash, just to see him and his friends cackling. Peter rubs the back of his head as the whole bus, except for Harry and MJ, laughs. "Are you ok? I swear, Flash is going to regret this..." Harry asked rapidly. Peter's eyes starting to water, not because of the pain, but because of how mad he was. "He thinks he's so cool, just because he plays sports doesn't mean he can't walk all over everyone..." Peter rambles. The bus pulls up to Oscorp.

Everyone steps out, MJ stops and tries to comfort him, but is immediately pushed by the people behind her. Peter and Harry get out last. The driver glares at Peter. Harry shoots him a look, and he looks away. Harry and Peter walk over to MJ and Gwen. "Are you alright, Petey? I heard the sound of when the ball hit you, it didn't sound good." MJ inquired. Peter nodded. "I just hate Flash. So much. He's going to regret the years of torment he puts me through. He's been bullying me since the 1st grade! I just can't let him do this anymore. I'm going to make him regret everything." Peter rambled. "Peter... you're not thinking straight. You'll never be able to stop Flash, let's face it." Harry pointed out. He put a hand on Peter's shoulder, but Peter immediately swatted it away. "Maybe we should leave him alone." Gwen suggested. They all nodded in agreement, and left Peter alone for now. He let out a deep sigh and wiped away some of his tears. His glasses were all fogged up, but he didn't care.

Peter speed-walked into Oscorp.
