Chapter 3

3rd POV

Currently Yn is sitting down on the couch in the basement with Eleven across from her, Eleven was messing with one of the boy's hand radio while the boys themselves were discussing their plan, in truth Yn was getting a little impatient with how things are going so far but she decided not to complain about it.

Yn turned her attention to the boys so she could hear their plan and maybe get a better understanding about what they want to do.

"We just tell our parents we have AV club after school" Mike said to his two friends as they listened carefully.

"That'll at least give us a few hours for operation Mirkwood"
Mike said as he turned to his friends to see if they had anything to add or say.

Lucas leaned up a little and then looked at the two boys at the table with him.

" You seriously think that the weirdo knows where will is ?"
Lucas said as he looked behind Mike to see that eleven was still messing with the radio.

Yn wasn't too surprised when she heard that after all it seemed like Lucas wanted them gone more than anything else but still she did hate how he was acting in general, so She turned her attention to Lucas and just glared at the boy.

Lucas instantly looked down at the table for a few seconds before he turned his attention back to Mike, Lucas knew it wasn't a good idea to get on Yn's bad side, so he decided to stop talking for the time being and just reply to Mike and Dustin.

"Just trust me on this, Okay"
Mike said as he looked at Lucas and Dustin.

"Okay"
Lucas reluctantly said.

"Did you get the supplies ?"
Mike asked as he stared at Lucas.

"Yeah"
Lucas replied as he turned behind him and picked up his bag.

Lucas started to empty out all of the items in his bag and placed them on the table in front of him to show his friends.

"Binoculars....from Nan"
"Army Knife....Also from Nan"
"Hammer, camouflage bandana..."
"And the wrist rocket"

Lucas said as he showed everything he had stored in his bag but it seemed like he was excited to show off his wrist rocket more than anything else.

"You're gonna take out the demogorgon with a slingshot ?"
Dustin asked as he saw his friend's 'weapon'.

Yn didn't want to interrupt their conversation but she had to agree with Dustin, how would a simply slingshot take out a monster from another world ?

Lucas seemed to be greatly offended by what Dustin just said.

"First of all, it's a wrist rocket."
"And second of all, the demogorgon's not real"
"It made up"

Lucas said to Dustin with some anger in his voice, it seems like Lucas wasn't too convinced about what Eleven did yesterday with the board and the piece.

"But if there is something out there, I'm gonna shoot it in the eye..."
"And blind it"

Lucas said as he pulled the slingshot back and then let it go which made Dustin flinch.

Mike just sighed and then looked at Dustin.

"Dustin, what did you get ?"

Mike asked as he looked at Dustin.

Dustin soon picked up his bag and then emptied everything out on the table.

"Well, alrighty"

Dustin said as he placed his bag down.
