WHOSE READY FOR CHAPTER 8?!?!

Arias POV

I hadn't realized I had fallen asleep until I felt someone tap my nose. I shook my head vigorously thinking a fly had sat on my face. Only opened my eyes to observe everyone looking at me with awe. I gave all of them a dirty look causing them to snap into reality and start heading out the door. I mean who the fuck stares at someone while they sleep on the plane.

I was so caught up in thought I hadn't realised we landed till I looked out the window of the jet to see we were on land and almost everyone had left I hastily picked up my belongings (my backpack and the fucking ginormous suitcase) and sprung to my feet.

I didn't register what I was doing I just followed the rest of the family to an elevator. Some tall guy in a suit took the suitcase out of my hand. His suit looked expensive but compared to the other men in this family his suit looked like it was made 40 years ago. My eyes followed Sergei as he left ahead with Nikolai, who was on the phone. I realised he was calling for a car.

I tried to take in my surroundings. I thought we would have landed at an airport but no, it seemed to me in the middle of someone's property. At least they weren't planning on stranding me, just in case they were, I was starting to find ways to escape you know just in case. Till I saw a light coming straight ahead. It was so far away I could barely make out what it was, this place was an acreage, I would have thought it was abandoned except everything looked well maintained, and the flowers in the grass looked healthy, and pretty sure there was a huge fountain behind us. The people in suits looked strong, way stronger than an average cleaner would be, maybe bodyguards, bodyguards with massive guns though.

I couldn't think any further after I watched 3 fancy cars driving at full speed towards Sergei and Nikolai. Should I get their attention and say there's a car attempting to murder you? The cars came to a halt perfectly in front of the two men. I don't know much about cars but these 3 looked expensive and screamed luxury. Out of the blue, I felt the warmth of someone's hand on my lower back, Ivan.

"You okay?" His voice came out sweeter than I could have ever imagined.

There was something about it that made me melt. His eyes were covered with love, why? Nobody had ever looked at me with so much care before, other than Elena. My adopted mother always looked at me with sorrow or stress so the love in his eyes was a sight I wasn't used to.

"Of course," I said syncing a nod.

He didn't respond other than wavering a smile.

I turned my head to see Mila watching Ivan and me interact. I didn't get a chance to say anything before I was taken by surprise by her grabbing my hand and intertwining it with hers. Why are they acting as if they need me so badly? They left me so why do they keep acting as if they care so much?? I shoved the questions away. It might be an act, trust no one remembers Aria?

As I questioned the meaning of it all, the squad casually strolled to the cars, leaving me in a solo stand-up routine with a bewildered squirrel. I followed like a lost puppy. Sergei, Mila, and Nikolai took the second car, and the rest of us took the third. I heard Dom and Ivan talk in the distance, I heard them repeat my name a couple times. I was too busy staring out the window, I watched as we moved closer to that light. I was desperate to see what it was, the closer we got the closer to the edge of my seat I got. It was a house. Scratch that, it was a fucking mansion.

The car pulled over, and we all hopped out, strolling toward the fancy mansion. There were tons of guards armed to the teeth. I felt like if I even sneezed wrong, they'd go all trigger-happy on me. Happy thought aria, happy thoughts.

Stepping through the entrance, I found myself in a flawless, colossal mansion. Gleaming marble floors reflected the soft glow of chandeliers hanging overhead, while expansive rooms unfolded, adorned with lavish furnishings. The air was infused with a sense of opulence, and each corner boasted meticulous decor that whispered of elegance and wealth. My mouth dropped in shock. I knew this family was rich but I didn't know just how rich they were. Everything about this place just screamed elegance and poshness. The high ceilings which were adorned with crystal chandeliers reminded me of a royal palace. Nikolai chuckled at my expression, scaring the shit out of me. I scrunched my face at him, signifying to him it wasn't that funny.

Mila took my hand again and led me deeper into the house, which I think was a lounge room. It had this massive cloud couch, I desperately wanted to touch it was the showstopper, a massive, comfy-as-heaven white cloud couch right in the middle, practically begging me to flop down. Big windows let in loads of light, and the whole vibe was chill and cozy. It's the kind of place where you'd want to kick back and hang out all day. Anyways besides the fact this room is the nicest thing I've seen in my entire life, there were seven boys scattered around the room. Not too much older than me and also strangely....looking like me. Maybe cousins?

 Maybe cousins?

Mila cleared her throat capturing everyone in the attention of the room. I stared at her, feeling many stares burn through my skin. I heard somebody's footsteps, and I felt hesitance looking towards the sound. I ignored my fear and faced it.

"You're home, finally,"
