Minho POV:

I sighed and fell back into the couch. All the children beside Mr. Sick, who was sleeping. And little Jeongin, who had gone with Chris to work. Were at school.  Hopefully today was going to go nice and smooth, like spreading butter on a piece of toast. Nice and simple. Only using that analogy now made me realize how hungry I was. When you live with seven other people, eating for yourself doesn't really become a priority.

Sighing again, I stood up from my comfortable position on the couch. Walking ever so slowly to the kitchen. To my surprise there was a little human sitting on the floor, near the oven.

"Puppy?" I asked, crouching down to the boy's eye level. He turned towards me. His eyes seemed a little un-focused and his forehead looked pale. Other then that though he looked relatively healthy. "What are you doing out here? I thought you were in bed?"

The boy just shrugged before reaching for my arms. I scooped him up and balanced him on my hip.

"Minnie tummy hwurt," he whimpered. Has if my stomach wanted to remind me why I was here, it growled loudly.

"Your tummy hurts?" I asked, walking over to the counter. "Is that it? Do you feel like you're going to throw up?"

Seungmin nodded intelligently.

"Throw up,"

I nodded and placed the baby on the counter.

"I'm going to call Dad, okay?" I asked my son.

Seungmin just stared at me.

"Okay,"

"Okay," Seungmin muttered, focusing back on the ground.

Pulling out my phone, I dialed my husband number quickly.

"Hello? Babe, what do you need?"

"Hyung, Seungmin is telling me that his stomach isn't feeling well."

It sounded like some shuffling on the other side of the phone before I heard a voice.

"I'm meeting with Ateez in a few minutes, but that should be the only thing. The medicine as well is on the top self, above the stove. Give Seungminnie one of the pills. It should help with his stomach and if he has any ."

I nodded, even if he couldn't see me, and went ove to the cupboard. I watched out of the corner of my eye, Seungmin aimlessly follow me.

"Got them!" I yelled into the phone. Pulling out the bottle I shut the cabinet door efficiently.

"Just one," Chris reminded me.

"Seungmin come over here," I motioned for the boy to come closer to me, while holding a phone and unscrewing one of those child-proof seals.

Seungmin slowly teetered his way over. Once he got closer I could see that his face had gotten paler. His eyes still seemed shiny, like he could break down crying at any given moment.

Finally I got the cap loose, "Seungmin honey, do you mind going and grabbing a little glass of water?" I asked him in my most softest voice.

The sick boy nodded and walked over to the sink.

The way I was acting reminded of those housewife shows. Where the moms' were always running around in circles trying to get a family intact. They'd do the laundry, cook for the family, clean the house. But most of the time that also was their full-time job. I on the other hand, worked at Seoul Tender Loves Animal Shelter. Or S.T.L.A.L. for short. I still though spent the most time out around the house out of me and Christopher. I guess you could say I was the mother in this relationship.
