CHRISTOPHER'S POV:

"Come on Min, just slide your hand through." I pleaded, as I gripped the sleeve of Seungmin's dog costume.

It was Halloween night, and something as simple as getting ready for trick or treating, was turning into my worst nightmare. Thankfully though Minho was able to get the twins settled and into their costumes. Changbin and Hyunjin and dress themselves. The only two people left were me and my husband, Innie, and Seungmin who for some reason wouldn't stop putting up a fight.

"Seungminnie," I sais, stopping my struggles and looking into the boys eyes. "What's wrong? Why are you putting up such a fight, normally you're a good boy for Dad. What happened?"

And of course I was met with silence. My son's eyes just darting around my face, not quite staying still. I sighed and dropped my hands in defeat. Both legs were in, including his right arm. His left arm dangled out of the bodysuit loosely.

"Seungmin please just cooperate," I begged him. "Just for one night, you can even stay near me and Daddy."

Seungmin for some unknown reason wouldn't answer or make any indication of his feelings. This whole no speaking business was getting out of hand. I know that kids his age should be speaking sentences. Even Jeongin was joining into conversations, he was speaking more than Seungmin ever did at his age.  It wouldn't surprise me if he had some form of selective mutism. I have Insomnia, and both Minho, Felix and Changbin are diagnosed with ADHD. But I don't know if that gives a reason for refusal of speech.

I changed my position so I was sitting on my butt instead of knees. Seungmin was just looking at me with a blank stare. He had managed to slide the sleeves off so the bodysuit was just hanging on him from the waist.

Looking him into the eyes I felt myself break slightly. "You don't have to wear that if you don't want to. We can find something else if you want."

With that new news, Min slipped off the clothes.

I sighed for what felt like the umpteenth time before I stood up. Walking over to the door, I looked back once to see Seungmin staring out of the window.  Closing the door behind me I sniffled, holding back the tears that wanted to fall.

"Chris?" I heard footsteps walking over to me, getting louder every step. a pair of arms wrapped protectively around my shoulders. Once I was able to smell the wonderful smell of my husbands cologne, I broke down.

"What I'm I doing wrong Min?" I cried into his shoulder. "I've tried everything."

"What do you mean?" I heard him ask, his voiced muffled. "Did you get Seungmin dressed."

I shook my head. "No, and I don't know why? He kept putting up a fight and-and then he wouldn't even respond when I asked him something."

"You're not alone Chris. I've also noticed the lack of response and focus. It's nothing weird he's only doing to you. I've also even seen him do it to his brothers, ghosting them." Minho comforted me.

I nodded and sniffled a little, trying to cool off my tears.

"Daddy? Why's someone crying?"

"Felix go into your room, okay? Me and your dad are having a discussion right now."

I looked up from Minho's shoulder to see a small little boy dressed up as a yellow chick. If I wasn't bawling my eyes out, I might've given him a big hug. Though he quickly disappeared, following his Daddy's instructions.

"Why don't you go handle the children, while I go check on Minnie?" Minho offered.

I nodded, pulling away from his shoulder's I looked him in the eyes. He gave me a quick kiss on the forehead before going into the room behind me.
