CHRISTOPHER POV:

I sat blankly at my computer screen. It was 1:00 am and I had just finished having leftover Kimchi from last night's dinner, tasty. All the kids were at school, except for Seungmin and Jeongin, who had gone with Minho to work, leaving me by myself in this penthouse. It was another one of those 'when will this day end' kind of days. I hated them. It was a normal Tuesday, slightly cloudy, mid-temperatures, no one's died yet, it was tragically boring. Normally back at my house in Australia, we'd call this kind of day a Basic Barbra, mainly because swearing was not allowed in my house growing up. I still cannot swear, because surprise surprise, kids pick up words quicker. And God knows we don't need Jeongin to be a 2-year-old rapper dropping f-bombs every two seconds. Even though that would be funny, I don't think Jeongin's preschool teachers would appreciate it very much.

Sighing heavily I closed my computer and opted to scroll on my phone. The only really nig thing happening in my life was currently me and Minho were trying to find a place where we can get someone to look at him. Not that anything's wrong with the boy, it's just he's moving slower than most kids his age would. I mean given that I had four boys previous to Seungmin's birth, I think I know what I mean when I say he's developing slower. I mean for crying out loud Jeongin is talking more than him, all kids are different in guess. Minho's caller I.D flashed across my screen and I accepted.

"Hey baby," I said into the phone.

On Minho's end, I could hear a variety of different animal squawks and barks.

"Hello Chris," I heard my beautiful husband say. "I need to ask you a quick question. I was talking to some of my coworkers today and Jisoo Lee, the vet, said her wife Chaeyong, who is a child therapist, would love to see Seungmin."

I was stunned, by all my hard work into finding a therapy that works with children. All Minho had to do was probably something like blackmailing his coworkers.

"Oh. Th-That's nice," I stuttered, still stunned. "When will she see him?"

"Tomorrow," Minho said over the phone. It sounded like he was doing something. "Berry, down girl. Ah! Jeongin! Get down from there!"

I laughed, "Sounds like you've got your hands full over there! And yeah that works!"

As I shifted the phone to my other ear I almost dropped it when I read the time. "Oh my God, I have to go pick up the kids!"

I quickly hung up before Minho could say goodbye, probably gonna feel that in bed tonight, and rushed out the door. Thankfully the boys' school was near the house so it didn't take that long. And wouldn't you know, as I pulled to the gate of the school my four oldest ran towards the car.

"Dad, you almost left us!" Felix exclaimed as he buckled in. "We were forgotten!"

"No you weren't forgotten, I was just talking to Daddy," I explained as I began driving.

"I 'fought Daddy was at wowk?" Jisung asked.

"He is, but he was just calling me," I said, looking up into the rearview mirror. "How was your day though boys?"

"Fine," Changbin had whispered from behind me. "Taehyun was being a jerk."

I could hear the sadness in his words that made my heart pang a little.

"My dad was good though Daddy! I met a boy named Jackson!" Hyunjin yelled. "He's really cool, and he's from Hong Kong!"

"That's nice," I answered back, glad Hyunjin was making friends. Last year he had struggled a little with reaching out to kids in his class, so I was a little nervous he was going to still struggle. But the fact that he'd already found one made me happy. No parent wants their kid to be friend-less unless they're some monster. "What about you Jisung?"
