"Percy, don't. She's a monster." Annabeth says, reaching out to grab Percy's arm.

"We all choose who we make our monsters, but, right now, that one wants to tear you limb from limb... and I'm offering you lunch. The choice is yours." Medusa says walking back inside her house making the three Demi gods and goddesses look up from the ground

"I think we can trust her." Percy says looking at the group

"What?"? Annabeths says, staring at the boy

"Dude!" Grover says throwing his hands up

"I can't explain it, I just." Grover starts looking over to the silent goddesses "My mom used to tell me her story. And the point was always that she isn't what people think. And I definitely trust my mom. So I'm going in. You guys do what you want." Percy says walking into the house.

Diana looks between Annabeth and Percy, before following Percy, giving Annabeth a squeeze on the shoulder when she passes Athena's daughter.

Walking into medusas house Diana first smells the aroma of food floating in the air, waking deeper to wear she hears Percy at she see all different kind of foods sitting on Medusa table

"What are you..." Percy starts, before a door opens

"You must be hungry. I left snacks on the table while I get something proper going. And Diana just let you some ambrosia right there"  Medusa says, pointing at the seat beside hers that has a ambrosia plant sitting on the plate, before she walks out of the dining room and knot the kitchen.

"You think it's safe to eat?" Percy says t grover and Diana, who is waking over to 'her seat'

"Percy, I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm really hungry, and I'm ready to take that chance." Grover says, hungrily eyeing the food on the table

"It's safe"  Diana says, taking a bite out of the ambrosia making her wound heal up, and disappear like it was never there.

A bell chimes before Annabeth walks in "Thanks for coming."

"This isn't the same for me as it is for you." Annabeth says starting at Percy

"Why?" Percy questions looking at the female demigod

" You're concerned I would hold a grudge against you simply because you are a daughter of Athena? You shouldn't be. We're not our parents after all. And you and I might have more in common than you think." Medusa says walking into the living room. Annabeth looks at her in disgust "Please, sit and eat."

"So you're not a monster, what are you then?" Percy questions starting at Diana who stares outside the window.

"A survivor" Medusa says, glancing over at Diana who is ignoring her looks

"You must be a little more than that. There's a Fury out there that seems terrified of you." Percy says, bringing up a cookie to his mouth before biting it

"Because she knows what I think of her. I don't like bullies. When one shows up on my doorstep, they end up spending a lot more time there than they planned for. The gift the gods gave me is that I cannot be bullied anymore." Medusa says with a comforting smile, making Annabeth scoff

"What my mother did to you wasn't a gift, it was a curse." Annabeth replied, Diana looks at Medusa who is starting at the girl with a calculating expression.

"You are loyal to your mother." Medusa asked but it came out more like a statement.

"Yes." Annabeth says looking at Diana in confusion making Diana sigh.
