The door chimes with a little bell as we walk into a coffee shop called 'Sweet Eternity'. The atmosphere is warm and homey. There's a row of bookshelves to the left down the back of the room. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the counter. To the right of it is a viewing case for all the pastries. There's an array of tables and chairs— all the way in the middle of the room to the walls.

I can't help but notice the calming smell of lavender in the air. I look around until I spot the culprit. It's a purple candle right by the cash register. What I noticed more was the man standing there. His loving— gummy smile on full display.

I look up at Namjoon, and then towards the other man. They're both looking at each other lovingly. One second he was at the cash register, and the next he was scooping Namjoon into a hug.

"Joon, I missed you", the man murmured against Namjoon's throat.

"Hyung, you saw me this morning", Namjoon chuckles— hugging him back. They pull back for a brief moment before their lips are locked. I avert my eyes to give them privacy.

Instead of standing there awkwardly, I walk up to the counter and stare at the pastries. There's cupcakes, doughnuts, cookies, and small little cakes. The ones infused with blood are labeled. It tells me this cafe is vampire and human friendly. It's nice.

"I'm sorry Sana", Namjoon says in a tone that makes everyone realize he forgot about me for a minute. I turn around to see him and the other man separated from each other, but hands woven together instead.

"It's okay. I'm guessing he's your mate", I tell him— nonchalant.

"Yes, this is one of my mates, Yoongi", he tells me— directing an open palm with his right hand towards Yoongi. A dimpled smile, prominent.

I relax a bit at that— knowing he wasn't interested in me in a sexual way or for blood. Mated vampires usually only feed off of each other, and if they need more blood they can get it with blood infused food.

"That's very lovely. It's nice to meet you, Yoongi", I bow my head to him. He acknowledges me by nodding back.

"What would you guys like? I assume you're here for school work?" Yoongi directed his question to both of us.

"Kind of, I guess. I was thinking about helping her with her English", Namjoon laughs bashfully— rubbing the back of his neck.

It was endearing to watch him fluster in front of his mate. It was just as endearing to watch his mate cup his cheek— his thumb rubbing against the apple of it. Their love seems so pure. So out of this world, and it makes me long for the person I miss the most.

Yoongi and Namjoon both break eye contact and look over to me simultaneously. The looks they give me seem like they're asking if I'm okay, and I'm confused by it. I tilt my head to the side— as if asking 'what?'.

Before anyone could say anything there's a ruckus coming from the back. A tall man with broad shoulders comes from the kitchen with two plates of deserts on them. His smile is instantaneous when he locks eyes with Namjoon and Yoongi. Then his eyes look over at me and his smile falters— but doesn't fade.

"Yoongi, why are you cuddling Namjoon when we have a customer?" The man scolds him— placing the deserts in their viewing case and then rounding the corner to come over to them both.

"Sana, this is my oldest mate, Seokjin, but he prefers to go by Jin", Namjoon chuckles at Yoongi getting scolded.

"Wait, you know her?" Jin questions— turning towards me.

"He's going to help me with English", I tell him— feeling as if the question was directed to me— rather than Namjoon.

"Well, then you guys better get to it!" Jin shoos us — pushing Namjoon towards a table in the corner.
