You opened your eyes to see that idom is nowhere to be seen, and in a panic, you hurriedly looked at your belongings to see, that...it's untouched? Did he not take his 40$ of payment?

As you looked into your phone you were shocked to see a unknown number already opened on your messages.

As you read the messages, you can't believe the audacity of this man as you ignored it for the meantime wanting to just get ready for work, you were about to go upstairs when you suddenly notice a food on the table.

As you walked towards it, you notice it was curry...did he really just cooked for you? To make sure, you checked the pot and rice cooker to see it filled with rice as the pot is filled with curry.

Curious, you took a spoonful and immediately perked up by the taste, it was delicious,and, oddly homey, which is expected as you've been living off of quick and easy prepared meals.

As you took the last spoon of curry, you can't help but feel full afterwards but want more, not wanting it to go to waste, you put the curry in a big plastic tray and covered it before putting it inside the fridge, as you're just gonna heat up once you get home before coming upstairs to actually get ready for work.

"So, what got you in the mood today?" Your coworker, and friend for 6 years now said as you both walk through the halls to go to your cubicles.

  "I don't know what you're talking about." You said as you both got inside the elevator.

"So moving on, did you try?" She asked as you look at her confuse.

"Try what?" You asked as she giggled as she was talking about if you rented anyone yet.

"No, not really." You said lying as she just nodded before nagging you about renting one.

Before she could continue you go your seperate way as her cubicle was on the other floor. As you sigh in relief once the elevator finally closes.

  "On time again I see." You suddenly flinched as your boss softly talked to you, he was wearing a face mask as important documents is in his hand.

"Jeez boss, don't scare me like that." You said as he just gave you a close eyed smile, his innocent demeanor making him shine more, and you can say that he's also probably the kindest boss for a very popular company.

  "Sorry, just became a habit of mine. Have a good day." He said patting your shoulder as he walks away probably to his office.

"That guy..." You said sighing as you plop down on your computer ready to start working. You looked at the time to see you were 10 minutes late, which means your friend really stood there outside the building and still waited for you.
