GAME NIGHT!

"Okay so, here is my apartment." I said as I opened the door for mon to come in as he inspects the room.

"Pretty typical look for a apartment I may say." He says before he walks to the living room and look around.

"Well, the Xbox and PlayStation isn't really plugged in you see, it's still in its boxes ever since I got it." I said to him as he just nods before he made himself comfortable on the couch.

"Well, if you need anything to drink, the kitchen fridge is right over there. Wait here as I get the two." I said as he just nodded before I made my way up the stairs.

"Now where is it," you mumbled as you rummage through the big boxes under your bed where you usually put the items you don't have any use for.

You keep rummaging until you finally found it, stuck in a pile of very old clothes that you used to wear in college but no longer use in your current lifestyle.

Now that you found the Xbox, You put everything back to the box and rummage through the next one where you easily found the PlayStation since its just surrounded by different ornaments from either Halloween or Christmas.

After you put everything away you go down the stairs to finally set up the gaming system that you both are gonna be using tonight.

Once you go down the stairs you see him comfortably sitting using his phone, focus on playing the game.

"Is that your gaming station?" He suddenly asked not letting his eyes leave his phone.

"Yeah it's mine, so ready to set it up?" I said as he close his phone before he stood up and started arranging everything.

Seeing him so focus on his work was quite, relaxing as his stoic and strong features highlights his expression quite well. This goes on for a few minutes before its finally done.

"There, so ready to start?" He asked as he selected the game he wanted to teach me about first.

For the first game we played mortal Kombat. We started with the story mode first, diving into the wonderful story this game has to offer with quite a few gruesome scenes which I only found out after failing the test of might minigames which he gladly helped me get around with.

It took about 5 hours in total before we finished the story as it was quite long especially with the countless cut scenes and failures we faced when playing the game, but it was quite fun in the end.

"Well that was quite a long game...i guess we should have start with a more tame one." He said as he took the controller and started rummaging through the available games I have.

"Man that was quite the game, care for a drink?" I asked him as he just nodded still looking though the games, while I stand up to go the kitchen and took out the juice from my fridge.

"So found any yet?" I asked as I settled down the two glass of drinks in the table.

"Maybe this one is more tame." He said as he pressed the play button again.

This game goes on for a long time again, but I feel like this is starting to get boring with the same controls and game play.

Don't get me wrong I'm having fun but I feel like he's the one that isn't having fun, base on the way he plays he already played the game before and is not really that enthusiastic with playing it again knowing how it's gonna go.
