Yesterday's Happiness

My bus arrived in Manila around ten o'clock, so I booked a grab to take me back to my condo. I placed my bag on the couch before removing my shoes and placing them on the shoe rack.
 
Steff is not here today; he was probably out drinking last night. I checked the fridge before cooking brunch. I went for a heavy breakfast today; it's rice with beef broccoli since it's going to be my breakfast and lunch.

I went to the opening ceremony of a family friend's business after eating and watching a little. I didn't change my clothes and just sprayed perfume. I arrived exactly when the ceremony started. I chose some athletic clothes in their shop before going to the mall.
 

I shopped for some school essentials, then went to Shakey's to eat dinner. I ordered a meal for myself and ordered pizza to take out; it's going to be my breakfast tomorrow.

When I got back home, Steff was already there, watching some movies on Netflix. I placed the pizza on the coffee table and took three slices for our breakfast tomorrow. I took out sodas in a can and joined her watch series.

When I woke up, I went to freshen up before putting our leftover pizza in the microwave to eat breakfast. Steff left a note saying she went down to jog and she'd buy our coffee.

Steff entered with our coffee, so she gave it to me and sat in front of me to eat breakfast.
 
"Last night was a blast; we drank like it was going to be our last one. Also, Sebastian was looking for you last night," she said before taking a bite of her pizza.

She was looking at me with a playful smile while chewing her food. She probably thinks there's something going on.
 
"He just probably wants to tease me again; just don't mind him," I answered while shaking my head and chewing my food.
 
She playfully agrees with me, not believing what I'm saying. I just scoffed, and she went quiet, so I finished my food before sitting in front of my desk inside the room.

I checked my phone for any messages and saw his message at the bottom, along with my other messages.
 
@bastian_F: Why aren't you here?

He's really looking for me, but I wasn't able to read his message that night since I got busy with the party and going around.

@Averia: I went home.

I still answered him, even though we're not that close to each other. I'll still try to be respectful. It didn't take him a long time to reply to my message.

@bastian_F: I thought you were going to ignore me again. Wanna meet for coffee?

I smiled at his invitation, and since I also wanted to get to know him better, I agreed. I never saw him have this much courage when talking to me.
 
@Averia: Sure, let's meet at Starbucks.
 
I gave him the address of the Starbucks near our condo, where I saw him studying with his friends before. After his okay, I went inside the bathroom and took a shower before changing into my white dress.
 
I put on light makeup and wore simple accessories for accents. After spraying some perfume, I grabbed my bag and wore simple one-inch heels.

"Saan ka pupunta?" She asked while I was putting my heels on.

Steff was looking at me with confusion while doing a last-minute check of my look. She stood up and brought her water while she checked me out.

"I'm going on a date today, so I might go home later than usual," I answered, and I bid my goodbye to her.
 
I went down and took a grab, so I won't need to walk there and arrive looking haggard.
 
When I arrived at the coffee shop, I sat in front of him and asked if he had already placed an order.
 
"I already did it; I know your usual is an americano with an extra shot of espresso." He looked at me and smiled.
 
Sebastian put his books down before talking to me. He look so hot with his buttoned dress shirt tucked inside his slacks; he's also wearing his specs today.
 
"Isn't today your finals?" I asked him while looking at his books.
