The Cold Night's Scenery
The trees were sparkling on the evening's glow
I thought they were eyes shining
The way leaves emerged
Oh, I miss the cold
Even when it lived within me, the coldPainted cold scenarios
Across the wet road after the fall
It could never be colder
And peaceful
Simply, beautifulI miss the freckled stars
For the countless nights
They were covered by the gray clouds
Then, rain took over like the heaven's cryThe way the world silenced
At midnight as I crossed the hushed street
With no eyes to worry
No whispers to free
Only my soul and the cold night's scenery***
