Though I never held you, I feel you here
Though I never heard your heart beat
A part of you lives in every beat of my own
You'll never lay in my arms, it's true
But in every hug I give your sisters, I'll hold you too
You never took a breath, but I and your father
Will express love for you in each breath we take
I'll always wonder what if, it's true
But one thing I'll never question is why you were gifted to us
You've changed me in ways unknown
And I'll forever be grateful for the moments I got with you
As your family, we'll always love you
