It's been weeks after the catching-Vince-in-bed-with-Juliet thing and Miles and I have already pranked the two more than twice now.
When I saw Miles sitting alone with his surfboard, I ran towards him at full speed. Which can be hard as hell because of the heavy sand rubbing against my bare feet.
"Hey!" I hollered, setting down my surfboard.
"Hey." He waved, smiling at me.
There's only a month left of school and during this month, we are gonna make Vince and Juliet's senior year suck ass.
"There's barely any good waves to catch today." Miles told me, sighing and laying back down on his towel.
"Really? I was hoping to surf it out." I frowned, crossing my legs.
We sat in silence for just a little but it wasn't too awkward. Listening to the waves and the people just seem so calm and peaceful.
"Y'know, Vince is such a jerk!" I yelled quite too loud all of the sudden, grabbing a pile of sand and thrusting it at the air.
"No kidding." He chuckled, now laying on his stomach. Since when did back muscles become so attractive to me?
"He's disgusting," I rambled on, "he made out with Juliet right infront of my face. They were literally licking each other's face off."
"Come to think of it, Juliet was a terrible kisser." Miles pretended to puke and shakes his head in disgust.
"Why'd you pick her? I mean there were so many girls drooling over you that were better than her." I asked, being straightforward and making weird hand motions. Everyone would really like to know why Miles Hunter chose Juliet Franks out of all the hottest chicks in the school.
"I don't even know myself. I had some stupid feeling that she was different.." He sighed, and I looked back to see him banging his head on his arm.
"You're so dumb." I laughed, slipping my sunglasses off of my sweat-drenched face.
"I know. But I wish I had one of those huge beach umbrellas." Miles grunted, blocking the sun with his hand as he sat up.
"I'm going for a swim, it's too hot." I said, fanning myself for some cool air.
Taking off my striped, t-shirt dress, I folded it up neatly and placed it in my duffle bag.
"You're not swimming?" I asked, tucking a strand of my dirty blonde hair behind my ear.
"Not now." He grumbled, covering his face and turning back over to his stomach.
"Why not?" I asked, placing my hands on my hips.
"Plotting revenge."

Miles and I tried our best to walk around Juliet's house without making any obvious sounds, but it failed miserably.
"Really?" Miles snapped at me for falling face first into the tall grass that surrounded the house.
I groaned as he helped me up, picking out grass from my hair. I swapped his hand away and pushed him forward.
Once we found the window to Juliet's room, Miles proceeded to skillfully climb up the tree that was planted just near her room. I did the same thing as he got high enough to be able to tap on the window or even break it to pieces.
I took the doll off my shoulder and got the rope that was attached to its supposedly neck. Miles bought the faceless doll off of Amazon and decorated it by making the eyes red x's and the mouth a squiggly line. On its shirt it has the words, "two days left".
It really has no special meaning, we just wanted to spook her.
Miles silently took the doll and hangs it on a nail that was coincidentaly above the window.
Once he got it balanced and ready, he motioned me to climb off the tree. When we both get to the ground, he sighed heavily while running his hand through his messy hair.
"I'm tired," I yawned, leaning my head on his back. It's nearly twelve in the morning and Miles forced me out of my house just thirty minutes ago.
"Weak," He said, walking off to his car.
I made a face and quickly followed him. The neighborhood is scary at this time, all dark and gloomy.
I got into his car and suddenly I saw something on his face. Miles turned to me, shining a flashlight on his blood mask face making me scream.
"Miles, fuck you!" I yelled, punching his shoulder repeatedly.
"You're such a sissy!" He laughed, throwing the mask to the back of the car.
When he dropped me off at my house, I stomped all the way to the front door without saying goodbye or goodnight.
"Not even a goodnight?" He called out to me, making me shush him.
I ignored him and slipped into my house, careful not to make any sounds.
The next day when I got to school, I kept hearing the words "doll", "Juliet", and "window". I take that as a success!
When I secretly smiled to myself and turned into a different hallway, someone stood in my way. I cringed as Juliet's huge boobs almost ran into mine.
"I know it was you," She said, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at me.
"What, that doll thing everyone's talkin' about?" I asked, patting myself on the back mentally because I was a decent lier.
"Don't act stupid, you're just jealous Vince dumped you for me! After all, no one likes a virgin on campus." Juliet shouts, making heads turn.
"I'm clearly not jealous and at least I don't have to worry about going to school with a big stomach and trying to find out who the daddy is." I arched an eyebrow, nodding my head towards her lower part.
"You bitch! I know you did it!" She reached out to try and pry my books out of my hands but someone pushed her back. A little too hard that is.
"Didn't take your pills this morning, Juliet?" Gwen smirked, stepping over Juliet's body on the ground.
"We're gonna be late, come on." She gestured me to jog to our next class.
I took a seat in the classroom and let out a big breath.
"You pranked her right?" Gwen excitedly asked, even though she probably knew the answer for sure.
"Yup, it was Miles' idea too." I proudly smiled then looked around the classroom for any signs of him.
When I saw him at his desk, he was already staring at me. He smiled, winked, and went back to scrolling through his phone.
Sometimes, I wonder about the guy.
