Delaney's Point of View
I was just shocked that my dear mate, Joseph just can't get along with me. He just believes in those rumors. How could he?
"I like somebody else." He said.
Wow! What a pleasant surprise! I just found out that my mate like someone else, not me.
"Who?" I asked him.
"Luna Kelsey."
"Does Jay know about that?"
"No. I have a crush on her. But I don't say anything to anyone."
I was about to say something when Ryan came and said,
"Pardon me, alpha. But your parents want to see you and your mate."
"Wait. We are coming in 5 minutes."
Ryan left. I sighed and said,
"Get ready to meet my parents." I left.
I go downstairs and see my parents. I asked,
"Hi, why are you here?"
"Is this a way to speak to your parents?" My father said.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.
"Where is your mate?" Mother asked.
I was about to say something when I smelled Joseph. I said,
"There he is." I said pointing at Joseph.
"Hi, I am Joseph Hunter."
My mother sniffed in the air and said,
"Are you an omega?"
"Yes."
"What the heck Delaney!? Your mate is an omega?"
"So what?"
"An omega is your mate! How will he be your Luna? As I was saying, complete the mating ceremony with Noah. He is not an omega."
"No mother. You can't tell me who I should mate. I love Joseph!"
I can tell Joseph was shocked. Father said,
"But we made a promise to the alpha. That you and his son will be mated. What will we say to them?"
"Well that's your problem, not mine. You should solve this."
I was going upstairs but stopped. I grabbed Joseph's hand and then we went to our room. Joseph was trying to push my hand from him.
I locked the door and said angrily,
"What the hell is your problem?"
"I don't want you to touch me."
"And why the hell is this? I am your mate for the sake of the goddess!"
"Like I said, I am in love with someone else."
"Don't. You. Dare. To. Say. This." I said as I take two steps ahead.
He takes two steps behind. Later, his back was blocked by the wall.
There is now 1 inch of gaps between us. Then my gaze turned out to his soft, pink lips. God! I want to kiss it. Then I can't control myself.
I locked my lips into his. He seemed surprised though pleased. He didn't pull back, he kissed me back.
"God! His lips are tasted like honey." Elsie hummed.
"Mhm." I agreed.
All of a sudden, Joseph pulled back.
"Why did you pull back?" I asked.
"I d-didn't k-kiss you. It was m-my w-wolf, Alex."
"Why are you shuttering, mate?" I can tell Joseph was shivered at my husky tone.
"Who said I was shuttering?" He said angrily.
"I said."
"Why are you that annoying?" He asked.
"Wrong. I'm not annoying. Do you know every single male infact, female wants me? But I love you."
"Well, I am not every single male who wants you. I'm a different male."
"You know what? You are much stubborn than I thought. Stay in the room." I said while leaving the room.
Oh god why does he have to be a very difficult person!?
But I am not giving up. I will make him fall for me.
"Best of luck, Delaney." Elsie said.
"Thank you."
