Nobody's Point of View
Previously....
"What?!" Lana screams. Robert shushes her.
"Shh! Be quiet!"
"But Del will never accept it! How can it be possible?"
"We will wait a year. She will become normal I hope then I will propose to them."
"What if they won't accept?"
"We.... will see then."
"Ok, then let's hope for the best."
A year later
Everything has changed in a year. Delaney has become normal but still carries the pain inside her. Now her world is her two pups. They are one year old. The alpha female is: Alexa White and the male omega is: Aaron White.
Alexa is a very mature and calm pup, never cries. On the other hand, Aaron is a cry baby and cries often. Example is today.
Delaney is having breakfast with her family. Suddenly, the familiar sound rings in her ear.
"Huah!" It's Aaron, as usual. Delaney leaves her breakfast and runs to the room and Lana follows her.
In two cribs, Alexa is sleeping but Aaron, crying his eyes out.
"Shush! Don't cry." Delaney says as she picks Aaron and pats his head. But Aaron doesn't stop. Lana says,
"Looks like he needs his mother."
"But from where? Joseph is... not here."
"I mean, you should choose a mate –"
"Mother, please stop! I've told you many times that I love Joseph and can't betray him. He is my mate and the mother of our pups, and will be!"
"But what about those pups? They need mother."
"I don't wanna talk about this!"
"Ok, so their swear!" Lana takes Delaney's hands and places them above the pups' heads.
"Give them a mother! Choose a mate for yourself! You all need to be happy! You all deserve to be happy!"
"Mother no!" Delaney tries to pull away her hands but Lana's grip is too hard.
"Grrr.... Fine!" Delaney finally growls and tells.
"Fine what?"
"I will... choose both a mate and the mother of my pups. But I have no one to choose."
"Don't worry. I know who it will be."
"Who?" Delaney's curiosity popped up. But Lana mysteriously says,
"You'll see soon enough." Lana leaves.
After Delaney left for work, at afternoon
Lana and Robert goes to the River Moon Pack, where Robert's sister, Mary lives with her gamma husband, Jace and her daughter and son, Lucinda and Elijah.
After they arrive, they knock the door and Mary opens it. She screams in happiness.
"Brother! Brother's wife! What're you doing here?! Come!"
"Thanks." Both go inside the house and sit on the sofa.
"So what brings you here?" Is Mary's first question.
"We have a proposal but we need everyone including Jace and Elijah."
"Ok. Jace! Elijah! Come downstairs!"
Minutes later, both father and son come, include Lucinda. She is looking curious.
After they talk with each other, Robert finally says.
"I've an important thing to tell."
"What is it, uncle?" Lucinda asks.
"We all know, Del had lost her mate a year ago and has to take care of both of her pups. But it's difficult for her to do, especially she is an alpha and has many duties. So, what I want to tell is.....
Make Elijah Del's chosen mate and mother of her pups."
There is a pin drop of silence after Robert finished his speech.
"What? Really!" Mary exclaims.
"Yeah."
"Uncle, erm –" Elijah tries to speak but cut of.
"We know how you look at Del, dear." Lana softly says.
"Yeah, it seems like you really love her."
"Exactly! I also looked!" Lucinda says.
"In that case, if Eli really love Del, then we'll accept the proposal." Mary says and looks at Jace, for support.
"I agree." Finally, Jace smiles that also brings smiles on Robert and Lana's face.
While they were talking, Lucinda takes Elijah in his room. Lucinda grins and says,
"So finally you're getting your alpha, huh?"
"My alpha?" Elijah asks dumbly.
"Yes, she's going to be yours, right? After your marriage with her ~" Elijah blushes and looks away. But in his mind, one thing is still in his mind;
Delaney just looks at him like a cousin, nothing more. Will she ever love him and accept him? Moreover, will the pups? Will they accept him as their mother?
Elijah doesn't know those questions' answers.
