I laid my head on the cold, rocky ground. I stared at the wall and I could feel a tear starting to form in my eye. I moved my head down and closed my eyes.

It was over. I was over. I couldn't do anything now. It's too late. There's no way for me to escape... There are too many ravens on guard.. The risk is just too high.

I had a thick cuff just above each paw. Each cuff had a long chain that clipped from the cuff to the wall. My nuzzle was tied shut with a dusty rope. Around me was a steel cage, being used as a barrier so I don't escape. I didn't know a raven could be so dangerous and smart. I thought they were just dumb birds that just eat and sleep. But boy, was I wrong. They're just like man. They can trick you with ease. They were in this cave to capture the one who held all the elements... In this case... Me... They prepared a dangerous and life-changing attack, planned out throughly. I should have known...

I was snapped out of my thoughts from a loud clang of metal. I rushed my head up and looked around. I got up as the chains attached to me jingled somewhat like jingle bells. I walked as far to the opening of the cage as the chains would let me go. Then with shock and a skip of my heart, a raven that seemed to come out of no where, cursorily gripped firmly onto the cage bar, holding something horrible in its beak.

A knife.

I jumped to the back of the cage wall just from being shocked from the raven. I was scared out of my life and started to whimper.

"You're next" spoke the raven, in a deep, scratchy voice. He let out a caw and rushed off.

I was in trouble now.
