The next afternoon, I found myself being more curious and alert than as usual. I don't know what got into me, but my body tingled with some sort of "strange" feeling.. Maybe I was just sick.
I twitched my ears and turned my focus to the loud sound of fluttering echoes and I saw something black rush into a cave.. It HAD to be a bat. It's not like some giant butterfly would go into a cave.
I tilted my head with doubt that I should go and explore. Because lately, EVERY time I explore, something bad would happen to me. And because I kind of can't go with someone because Warrior is out fishing by a far away lake. I knew I was going to regret the decision, but I took a step toward the cave.
It was a lot farther than it had looked, but once I finally arrived, my mind had exploded.
There were amazing gems all across the walls, with every single color you could possibly imagine. They twinkled from the reflection of the sun, and it was like some sort of disco. I took a step onto the rocky surface. It felt like dust and there were bits of the crystals sparkling on the ground. I walked forward, trying to take in all that was happening.
With the blink of an eye, some black creature with something sparkly rushed past me in plain sight. I squinted at it. I didn't know what it was, but I wanted to know. I started to run at 40 mph, chasing the black thing through the cave. My night vision kicked in, since it was getting darker and darker as we got farther into the cave. I kept my focus straight on to the black figure. I then heard a "caw" and obviously, it was a raven.
I personally hate ravens. They're always stealing your stuff and act like nothing ever happened. And worst of all, my mother told me that a few months ago, after we were born, I had another sibling, and she was taken from a raven and killed. She said she never saw her ever again. But nothing's going to happen to me. I'm much older, smarter, and bigger now. The worst that could happen is if I get peaked in the eye and go blind... Then I would possibly die, but I still have Warrior.
But I continued to chase down the raven and find out what it was holding and why. I also wanted to know what was at the end of this cave. But suddenly, the raven flew up out of plain sight and I look forward. In front of my eyes, there was a glowing waterfall, and a sea of ravens flying across the air. Then I saw something that was most shocking. Around the walls, there were different elements build out of crystals with the corresponding color of what it's supposed to be. There was a red sun, silver moon, white snowflake, orange fire, blue drop of water, a yellow star, a purple lightning bolt, a grey swirl of air, a black skull, a green leaf, and a pink flower. I was guessing the elements were sun, moon, star, ice, fire, water, air, nature, life, death, and storm. Then most shockingly, there was a wolf in the center of it all. But not just any wolf, a white wolf with icy blue eyes. It looked like... Me...
Under the wolf, there was an arrow. The arrow ran all the way to a pedestal right in front of me. I walked over to the pedestal and there was a sacred text. It said,
"The beholder of the powers is believed to have looked like this. There is now a new beholder walking the earth, but the identity is unknown"
I backed away from the text, shaking with slight fear. "The healing? That's life power.... My glowing eyes... The Sparks... But no... That couldn't make any sense. M-Maybe it's another albino wolf with some magical powers... Yeah. That sounds believable, I mean, there has to be more than one albino wolf right now, right?" I whispered to myself...
I closed my eyes, trying to take it all in. Then I felt the ground under me heat up. Like I said, bad things always happen to me. I opened my eyes and looked down. Under me, I saw a yellow sun with a bunch of symbols glowing under my own paws. Then, wavy lines from every inch swiveled all around the cave, straight into the walls. Then light burst in front and all around me. I looked down again and squeezed my eyes, my ears pinned down. Then I felt my legs get cold. I open my eyes again and I look at my legs. There were tear drops being drawn up my leg. A snowflake opened at the top of my knees. They were icy blue in color too. Like my eyes. I turned around to see my tail being marked with hieroglyphic-like markings from the start to the tip of my tail. They were diamond shaped. I felt my eyes glow. Then the ground cracked under me and the Ravens stopped cawing. Everything stopped glowing but the markings on me kept glowing an icy blue color. My eyes stopped glowing and I looked up at the Ravens. Then I hear a loud screech, and it said
"WE FOUND HER! THE MOST POWERFUL BEING ALIVE! GET HER BEFORE SHE RUNS OFF!!"
I widened my eyes and stood still. The Ravens came flying at me holding chains and ropes. I was pushed down onto the ground. I was in so much fear and shock, I didn't know what to do. One raven wrapped a rope around my nuzzle tightly, and another two covered me with a net, while ANOTHER four dragged me up in the air. I laid on my side and lifted my head as I drifted off. I looked around. Why didn't I attack?
I looked at my glowing markings and I sighed. Maybe it is me....
The net landed in a cage. Thick cuffs were placed on each of my wrist, with a snake of chains attaching to it and the wall near me. I couldn't howl for help, for my mouth was tied shut. I didn't know Ravens could do so much damage...
